Bump.

BF and I have discussed an elopement to Paris (if he ever gets around to proposing, lol) for Christmas *SWOON* but we might end up with a small backyard wedding here at home with our nearest and dearest.

For Paris: We were looking into it a few months ago and decided on a $10k budget (we live in the US) and that would include 8 days/nights at a luxery hotel plus airfare, budgeted for photographer, $200/per day for food and drinks, ect. Im sure there were fees we forgot but Im not planning in any more detail unitl I have a ring!

Our intimate wedding (courthouse followed by family gathering followed by a 4 day/4 night Bahamas cruise) is under $2,000. That includes our rings and wedding outfits.

Ours will probably be under 10k but pushing it. That’s not including my dress. We fly for free so most of the flight cost would be minimal. Resort was a little over 6k and I haven’t checked the other stuff cause we are still pretty far out. We wanted a once in a lifetime trip and that is what we are going for!

AnnaBCW:  Your weddings/honeymoons sound like mine! 🙂  Ours will be around $25,000 (without rings figured in)  – We’re getting married privately in the Maldives and staying there for our honeymoon. So that includes all airfare, hotel stay, food/drinks approx cost, my dress, his suit, a photographer, and a bunch of DIY decor i’m bringing, etc.  We can’t afford an elaborate wedding AND a honeymoon, so we chose to combine our dream honeymoon into our wedding…Plus we’re parents…so we want to escape for our wedding 🙂  Love to see pics and/or wedding diy inspiration  – visit my pinterest to see mine! 🙂  http://www.pinterest.com/julialane87/

Things aren’t all paid for yet, but the elopement/honeymoon/wedding rings/airfare/dress/suit/accessories/shoes/wedding dinner/officiant/bouquet/decor are going to cost us about $5k

We had a very intimate wedding in Paris and had a minimoon in the south of France. As we live in Europe there was no expensive airfare involved, but as everything added up, we found that all in all it cost us nearly 40k… Brrr.. How?How?How? =((

We had a small intimate Destination Wedding for 25 people. With the ceremony, reception, and honeymoon it cost about 10K
