I just had a fabulous surprise bridal shower yesterday and now have the lucky dilemma of adding more gifts to our gift registry. I am interested to hear what some bridal veterans have to say: what was the BEST item/most worthwhile/item you now can’t live without/smartest choice of gift on YOUR registry? We have a lot of the usual stuff: cookware, bakeware, kitchen gadgets, bedding, bath set, etc.

my glass mixing bowls from Williams sonoma – I have used them so many times it’s crazy! I don’t know what I did without them!

my favorite things we bought with monetary gifts- Pottery barn sheets. I shopped around at macys bed bath and beyond and TJ maxx and pottery barn sheets have changed the way i sleep for the better, and my husband LOVES them.
Good knives- forged brands like wusthoff henkels, messermeister and viking are awesome (make sure you are registering for a fully forged line) or rolled steel knives like Shun. Also a Kyocera ceramic knife is a great addition to any knife block!
We love our stainless pans, after years of cheap nonstic these are miraculous, and the food never sticks! Ours are 7 ply CIA but any ply cookware is good.
We also love our bath sheets, and so do our guests. I love a towel that you can cover yourself with and wrap around your shoulders too, like when you got out of the pool when you were little. We got ours at costco but they are available lots of places, the costco ones are bigger and cheaper though and i have some i got in college and they have lasted years (except some ugly bleach stains)
I was also really surprised at how many picture frames we got (I thought too many) but then after we got our pro pics, I wound up buying even more! the nice thing about picture frames too is sometimes people use them as a check holder if they aren’t that expensive!

oh and batter bowls! I am crazy about them- I really like the chantal naturals or the le creuset stoneware ones but any batter bowl is awesome!
