- Wedding: March 2005 - Westside Loft, New York
Mr. Bee and I talk about this all the time. Our two favorite weddings were complete opposites — the first had an amazing band with amazing vocalists and everyone was on the dance floor all night long. It was actually the wedding of Mr. Bee’s groomsman’s father, so the crowd was older, but they sure knew how to party!
The other had no dancing at all but it was filled with the best speeches ever. The groom also had a love song commissioned for his bride because he doesn’t like to dance. I didn’t even know anyone at the wedding, and I still had fun because it was filled with so much warmth, love, and meaning. (http://www.weddingbee.com/2007/09/30/the-explorers-club/)
What was the best wedding you’ve attended, and why?

Hands down the first wedding Iv’e ever been too. Maybe because it was so "new" to me & I hadn’t really been introduced to all the traditions before. There actually wasn’t anything extravagent about it. There was great food and lots of dancing. It was just FUN! I have since been to 5 wedding in 1 year & they all tend to start looking the same…
I’m sure mine will be the next best wedding I will have been too 🙂

I think I enjoy weddings most when the Bride or Groom is a close friend and someone I am genuinely happy for and who I can celebrate with. I’ve been to lots of family and family friend weddings and they’re good in their own respects, but getting to share a special moment in a friend’s life means more than anything!!!

The best wedding I attended was also the first wedding I went to with FH! I knew a lot of ppl there and knew the Bride had put a lot of thought into the details. The part that MADE the wedding was the live band – they were SO MUCH FUN!

One of my closest friends had a small wedding in Prague which is the most beautiful cities I have ever been to, the reception started at 6pm and ended at 5am the next morning….sooooo worth the 15 hours I flew to get there.

The best wedding I went to was one that was a month before mine. The reception had a great DJ that got people on the dance floor all night. So even though I wasn’t super cloe with the couple or anything it was a really fun night and we satayed all the way to the end. And I’m very happy to say that I found a DJ that her DJ referred me to, and he was great just like hers and I know people had great time. I never realized how much a difference it makes to have someone who really knows what they are doing to keep your reception going.

- Wedding: November 2018 - Majestic Colonial Resort, Punta Cana
I’d like to say my fave wedding was my own but what’s the fun in that?! (duh- of course it was!)
My favorite friends’ wedding was one where ALL our friends were able to make it. The speeches were absolutely hilarious (both the bride & groom and all their family have killer senses of humor) and the DJ ROCKED the house – we all scarfed down our dinners so we could boogie on the dance floor and that’s where we stayed all night long (excepting very short trips to the bar and washroom). It was awesome!
