I just snagged this little beauty for only a hundred and sixty and it is a genuine antique sapphire and diamond 18 karat gold ring!

I have way too many rings already but I absolutely could not resist such a deal.

Both my engagement ring and my band together cost somewhere around $2500, but we custom-designed them, and supplied the diamonds, which were from Hubby’s grandmother. Had we not supplied the diamonds, I think the cost would have been around $4,000+. The rubies are Chatham Rubies.

Such beautiful rings you all have…I am in LOOOVE with the morganite, lately.  After seeing all of these I want so many more – peach sapphires, rubies, emeralds – just beautiful bees πŸ™‚ !!!

The one on top is my actual e-ring (oec diamond solitare), but the bottom was my grandmother’s aquamarine (from what I’m told) ring w/diamond accents.  My grandmonther passed long before I was born, this was given to me by my aunt not long before her passing <3 .  I had always admired it and now I treasure it sooooo much more – LOVE it

My aquamarine center stone (that is reflecting the ugly orange/yellow color of my apartment building ugh) and pave diamond ring is from Blue Nile, and it was $960. I refused to let my fiance spend a ridiculous amount of money, even if I will be wearing it forever. I would not have been happy with a multi-thousand dollar ring, knowing he had to spend that much for it. He wanted me to pick the ring I loved, and I found it and didn’t break the bank.

There are some inclusions in the gemstone, but I don’t care. Most of the time I don’t even notice. Nobody else notices. It’s beautiful and shiny and I’m beyond happy with it!

2ct Montana Sapphire w/ diamonds. The appraised value is $10000 which made me just about fall off my chair when my Fiance told me while we were buying insurance coverage for it. But I wouldn’t trade it for anything in the world πŸ™‚ IMG_9288
