I checked “other”.  I was charting my temperatures and noticed at 11 dpo that my temp had gone up a second time.  I tested and got a faint BFP. πŸ™‚

I didn’t have any symptoms until a couple of days later, and those were mostly cramps that were a bit different from menstrual cramps + some lower back pain.  My breasts were a bit sore, but they usually are before AF so that was nothing out of the ordinary.

When we were TTC, one cycle I had crazy sore breasts and was convinced that this was finally our month, but it wasn’t. Our bodies can do crazy things sometimes. Why don’t you take a test this weekend? Sunday would probably the earliest that you could get a positive result.  Good luck!

With my first daughter if was the exhaustion that prompted me to test.  With my second daughter, I was charting my temp also, and noticed it had gone back up.

I found out I’m pregnant a few weeks back (I’m still waiting to find out an exact due date so I can join one of the pregnancy “month” boards and my first actual doctor’s appointment is next week)! Anyway, my first sign that something might be up was extreme fatigue. I felt absolutely exhausted all the time no matter how much sleep I got. After I missed my latest period (even though mine tend to be irregular anyway) and I started feeling nauseous, I knew I needed to take a test. Sure enough, it was positive.

As a side note, I hope you get whatever results you’re wanting with your test. I can’t really give any solid advice on when you should take a test but maybe you could ask a doctor or something? Just know that I personally have had symptoms in the past as well and it turned out to not be anything at all. Best of luck to you!

Two things made me suscpicious: (1) unusual cramping – not the typical period cramps, they were more like little tingles (2) implantation bleeding – thought it was the start of my period, but I only bled once when wiping in the morning and then it was gone. I took a pregnancy test 2 days after I noticed the implantation bleeding and got my BFP. IB happened Sunday morning and I tested Tuesday morning.

It really all depends so much on you. For me, nausea and heartburn showed up only a week after ovulation and hasn’t gone away yet (though it’s much better eating smaller meals and watching what I eat).

But for MOST people that’s not the case. Most feel exactly like they would if they were PMS-ing (a bit of bloating, a bit of breast soreness).

Symptom spotting can be dangerous, as many women say that they saw more symptoms in the months they were NOT pregnant than in the months they got their BFP’s!! That said, head over to the July POAS board, you’ll have lots of company, and assistance and humor.

@Annie624:  Thank you so much! For me, the fatigue started up at what I would estimate to be the two week mark (based off of preliminary blood work with my Doctor, they think I’m 6-8 weeks right now). The nausea has started very recently for me (right around what I estimate to be the five week point) and has been getting progressively worse as of late. I’ve heard and read that fatigue can hit you pretty early on but am not 100% sure on that. I’m not really much of an expert either unfortunately (this baby was a bit of a happy surprise). Maybe some other bees who’ve been pregnant before/planned ahead can let you know more. πŸ™‚

    Other: BFP

Throughout my entire pregnancy, I haven’t any cravings or aversions, no nausea, etc. I’ve felt pretty much normal.

My boobs were a little sensitive in 1st trimester. And now in 3rd trimester I’ve had to pee more often and have had some heartburn at night, both those are minor things. But those are pretty much the extent of my symptoms.
