@pengoala: Thanks, peng! The dress isn’t my final decision, yet (it was my first time trying on dresses, and I only tried on 3–there wasn’t much of a selection in the small town), but at least I know what to look for, now!

I know that this isn’t the very first dress I tried on, but it was towards the beginning of the search,

I bought this one:

I know the first one looks better in these pictures, but the sample came in my size, whereas I’m clipped into the second one! (We all know how that goes!)

@brighteyedgirl:  Thanks so much!!  It definitely needs to be fitted…I go for my first fitting in August!  I’m a little worried…since I bought the dress, I lost about 11 pounds.  My size 10 dress now needs to fit a size 4 body.  Whoops.  DB’s sizing is wacky though…I probably fit in like, their 6 or 8 at this point.  We’ll see what happens!  Watch, I probably lost like, all boobs or something…LOL

@FutureMrsBPB: Girl, tell me about it!  I only lost about an extra 5 pounds after ordering my dress, and already see the work that needs to be done.  I need to get on scheduling my fittings, sounds like!

@pengoala:  David’s Bridal told me to do my first fitting around 6 weeks before the wedding…def call your bridal shop or tailor and see what they say!  🙂

@FutureMrsBPB: Yes ma’am!  I also heard 6 weeks, so I should probably get on it.  Caught a head cold, so wedding planning is on a hold while i rest. 🙂  Doesn’t stop me from looking at all you beautiful girls in their dresses though!

I loved this all lace Jim Hjelm dress from J.Andrew’s bridal. I have had three kids, this is for my 15th wedding anniversary so I wanted lace, very romantic.

 

 

 

This is THE dress of my dreams, I am in love with it another Jim Hjelm from J.Andrews Birdal

ok, i found a pic of the FIRST dress i tried on. it was before i lost my 20 pounds as well and totally wrong for my body type. first i will show it to you on the model, then me, then what i ended up with!

 

and here i am a year and 2 months later! 

 

ps. i dont think i will leave that first pic of me up for too long, i feel so grossed out looking at it!
