1. Venue- due to small budget. 2. Invitations- WAY too many choices out there.

1. Guest List – uber tiny wedding budget = uber tiny guest list = uber prioritizing who is and isn’t crucial

2. Venue – we’ve gone from beach to garden to hotel to beach again and finally settled on a ranch

3. Invitations – like gjoann958 said, too many choices!! D:

My top two hardest choices were the Guest List and the music.

so far, i would have to say the dress. it took me almost a year to find one that i was happy with. we haven’t picked any music yet and we have been fortunate enough that we don’t have to cut anyone on our guest list so my vote goes to dress.

@ohheavenlyday: the same thing happened with our photographer too ๐Ÿ™ it really sucks. i’m not sure what your budget is but we ended up hiring timwill photography out of charsleton, sc and he’s very acquainted with savannah, ga…i think he used to live there? check him out, his pictures are great and he’s willing to work with your budget!

The date. I really didn’t want to have an engagement that was over 2 years long, but I just couldn’t make it work without giving myself the time to save money. It was hard for me to come to terms with not being able to get married for awhile.

i am like you. i have a hard time with everything and it drives. me. nuts.

first it was the dress. i thought, wow that’s over, the rest cannot possibly that stressful. nope. i stress over things like table numbers. yes i said table numbers. i wanted something more creative than numbers. it took me 2 whole days of agonizing to be happy. this weekend was shot to deciding bridesmaid bouquets and grooms boutinnieres colors!  look at the threads i started!

wedding bee helps alot!

I think our toughest one was the ketubah (formal Jewish wedding contract).  The one that had artwork we liked did not have an option for any Hebrew text that would work for a same-sex female couple.  And getting a custom text would doublt the price.  However, after looking at numerous ketubot and not finding any we liked as well, we finally decided to bite the bullet and pay the extra, since it is something that will be on our wall for the rest of our lives.

@FallBride100111:

Good topic – for me it’s been colors, then Bridesmaid or Best Man dresses, and right now it’s guest book (not wanting traditional, so far I’ve considered wish tree, photo guest book, making my own… aaack).

I’ve had a hard time with everything. But, I would probably say choosing the date was the hardest. Still debating my choice, actually. Other than that…centerpieces are hard to choose. There are so many different ways to do them.

My top three were:

1) venue- we were stuck between going for a destination wedding which we really wanted and having something here so it was easier for our guests.

2) dress- I feel like I was one of the few who tried on like 50 dresses( i don’t know how girls who find it in like 3 tries do it).  I finally found one I loved and seemed perfect but I still keep second guessing every now and then.

3) colors- this was surprising to me and I thought we could get away with not having to pick colors, but boy was I wrong.  It’s also one of the things we’ve disgreed about the most.  I finally won and got my merlot and lavender and ivory ๐Ÿ™‚  (he wanted fire engine red instead of dark red, but was fine with purple.)

@Andys B: Don’t worry, you’ll get stuff figured out!  Nothing like pressure to have decisions made ๐Ÿ™‚  Just try not to stress too much, remember you’re getting married to your love and that’s all that matters ๐Ÿ™‚  The rest is just details
