I know there are probably too many to choose from, but if you had to pic just ONE moment that took your breath away what would it be?
For me it was our first dance. Which is ironic because I can be shy and was nervous about having all eyes on just us. That all changed once we heard “our song” playing, and realized that this was for real. We just got married. We were dancing for the first time as husband and wife, and all of our favorite people in the world were in one room, sharing in the moment with us… it was just amazing!

Hands down first look. I wouldn’t give up that moment for anything.

I also have to say the first look.

It’s a pretty close toss-up between saying our vows and the 5 minutes or so we had in the ante-room post-wedding while all of the guests left the sanctuary. It was so nice to immeadiately just sit together and enjoy the feeling of “OMG we’re married and are now husband and wife” in private.
ETA: We’ve got good memories of ordering delivery pizza to our hotel room at 2am after the reception and wedding night fun (wink, wink) too! 🙂

Hmm hard to pick just one!! I would have to say our walk back down the aisle after our ceremony–I was on such a high/adrenaline rush because I was so happy and excited.

It’s a tie between walking down the aisle and seeing him for the first time and our first dance!!

I loved the pictures that we took alone right after our ceremony. We got to sneak away for a couple of minutes have a glass of champagne and just enjoy the exciting fact that we were husband and wife.
The other top moment was when we were on the dance floor and looked around and saw there wasn’t a single guest in their seat and people we even dancing up in the balcony. We just looked at each other in shock and the fact that this excitement was actually happening at our wedding that we planned so hard and long for.

When I turned and faced him for the first time and he whispered “You look beautiful” I STILL think about it every day:)

@PutABirdOnIt: That’s what my husband said, too. I loved that moment!

After the vows and exchange of rings we had a song of worship before Darling Husband and I took communion together.
Having that time of worship, just loving God and getting into His presence together was DEFINITELY my favorite moment of the day =)

When Darling Husband and I said our vows. We made all our friends tear up, apparently, even the ones who never cry at weddings.

I have a three way tie. I’m sorry! LOL!
- Our first look. It was amazing.
- When I was leaving for our first look, I had to walk from my hotel room over to where Darling Husband was waiting. My mom was super nervous for whatever reason and wanted to come with me (who knows why, she’s not a sentimental person, I think she wanted to carry my purse or something, LOL!). I told her no, hitched up my dress and walked off towards Darling Husband. Something about just having to start this life on my own… It was an incredibly powerful moment for me that caught me by surprise.
- When we got back from the reception and just laid on the bed talking about all the stuff that had happened. Gossiping really. LOL! It was just so comfortable and “us”.

When I was walking down the aisle. We had already done a first look, but the aisle walk was the most powerful and emotional moment of the day. Darling Husband and I were both crying and it was so cool to be surrounded by our friends and family who were all on time and excited for the ceremony.

It’s really hard to name just one, but one of my favorites was the few minutes we had along right after the ceremony. We were standing in the church cry room waiting for the sanctuary to empty before our big confetti-exit. We both cried and laughed and the mood was utterly gleeful and giddy. No photographer, no wedding party, no guests … just us, reveling in being just-married. Perrrrrrfect.

@Mermaid1082: You sounds like Darling Husband and me. That really was such a special private moment.
