Not engaged yet, but the rings I’m/we’ve been looking at fit into the 1k-5k range; highest ending around 2k!

Mine was a little over 1 k.  I’m really good with my price, if it wasn’t an estate piece and brand new it would have been a lot more.  Now my wedding ring, I wish I would have bought something cheaper cuz I honestly don’t love it ๐Ÿ™  Sounds like a good gift in the future.

We spent about 4k and he would have spent more if I wanted but I did not even want to pay the 4k! lol

Fiance told me that it was around 8k, but that also included my wedding band that matches my e-ring, and all of the insurance plans

I don’t normally tell people, but since you asked, my ering alone is in the $10k+ range and I’m okay with what he spent. We got a very nice diamond and setting and I absolutely do not plan on upgrading/changing/doing anything to it in the future and it comes with a lifetime guarantee against loose diamonds (lots of micropave details). I love it and since I work in corporate America, I can wear it daily without worries of damaging it. I also don’t wear a lot of jewelry so it is unlikely he will be buying me many more jewelry pieces (both costume and pricey) in the future.

Mine was just over 3K – way more than what I would have wanted to spend, which is probably why he shopped for it on his own – I would probably have picked out a plastic ring or something for 50cents

It was originally about $1500, but we had a trade-in, so we paid $850. I think that’s a little much, but SO was ok with it.

DH shopped in his own and spent $8500. If I were shopping, I wouldn’t have gone higher than $5k but I’m glad that he did ๐Ÿ™‚

I never wanted to know the price of my ring, I thought it was none of my business and didn’t want to feel guilty about how much money he spent. The other day I was on the iPad and opened up the “notes” application to save something and there it was. The break down of the cost of the band and the stone. I immediately closed it, but had already seen the cost.

Mine was between $800 and $900 and I love, love, love my ring. I think that was a good price for us and I couldn’t ask for a more beautiful ring.

My Fiance spent $7500 of his hard earned dollars.  If we had gone shopping together I would never have let him spend that much but I feel loved that he felt it worthy enough to spend his money on.

Neither of us make a lot, and I wouldn’t feel comfortable if he spent much more than he did. As it is I’m amazed he spent around a thousand and I’m even more amazed by what a beautiful ring he got for it!! It’s perfect for me in every way, including price.
