Before I actually started planning, I never knew I would need to create my own reception timeline. I thought someone would just tell me, “now it’s time for special dances, now you should cut the cake, etc.” Silly me!

@iheartnerds: I have thought about that, but kind of disregarded it, being that I’m very easy going.  Like is it completely necessary, why can’t someone just be like okay dinner is over now we’ll do cake or whatever!  I’m so not a planner, hence why I stalk the bee so much

I didn’t know that I had to appointment a person to make sure all the “wedding items” were in their proper place. As the bride, I couldn’t go downstairs after a certain time because guests were arriving… I had a wedding coordinator (for the venue) and thought she would take care of the placements… but for the most part I had to ask my mom whether or not the guest tree was on the table, and where they stored the sparklers, etc etc. I started freaking out right before the ceremony because I didn’t appointment a Bridesmaid or Best Man (or anyone) to put my stuff in the car, make sure our presents were taken, and everything else that is left over at the wedding. I even had to beg them to steam my dress while I was getting make-up on.. haha!
