ashleymarie843 :  Hi Ashley, we don’t have all our pro pics back quite yet but I’ve got a couple to share. We upgraded to a dove grey linen (looks blue-ish in some of these pics) and white and grey stripe cotton napkin. Think they added some depth to the space as it was quite industrial and white.

Flowers, good quality linens, a farm table head table (that fit the entire wedding party and their plus ones!), and cross-back chairs!

Ditto flowers for me, ran about $2,100 when I originally was hoping $1k-$2k but they came out beautiful. Also my Anthropologie hurricanes on the sweetheart table, 20% off holiday sale so maybe $95 or so for all 3? And macarons, pricey little suckers at $2 each, but made pretty photos and guests gobbled/hoarded them. Also we upgraded the tablecloths and napkins to ones in a nicer fabric with a glimmer sheen. I think all together lended to the look vs a stark white or beige poly, probably cost us $250+ more but went very nicely with the chivari’s included with venue fee.

Wedding Chalkboards.

i wouldnt say i splurged on them. But i most definitely spent months tracking down someone local to me to do them.

Brooch bouquets for my girls and I! A bit more expensive than flowers but I’m not a flower person (actually didn’t have a single flower at the wedding!). They were easily the biggest hit of the wedding- so unique.

ashleymarie843 : Thanks! And I think the greenery added lots of color! I just wanted it to look fresh and bright, which, IMO, it totally did. No regrets.

I wish I’d had budget for more flowers in the garlands but I was over budget as is–that said, I don’t think anything was missing, so to speak.

I’m SO happy with how the florals turned out, I think the big thing is finding a florist who gets your vision (and budget–more or less).

Seems to be the theme here, but I have to agree flowers! My sister didn’t have flowers in her centerpieces, and while I loved her wedding, it was the one thing I thought was missing. I had centerpieces and a few large displays on the mantle. The only pic I have right now is of the bouquet, but all wedding flowers matched this.

Oh, I thought this was for home decor splurge lol.  I didn’t splurge on any wedding items really.  We had just purchased a home and that was a huge splurge.

I wish I had a good picture to share, but I dont 🙁 We had cafe bulbs strung up outside and it added such a great ambiance to the evening for the people who were hanging out outside. We also had a loveseat for our sweetheart table. It was a little something extra and was super comfortable.
