That IS normal for 6 weeks.  I would tell you not to worry, but you’re a mom now, so it’s basically impossible.  I’m sure everything is just fine! 🙂

Anything over 100 and under 200 is fine.  My first baby was 140 at 6 weeks and my current was 120 at 6 weeks.  Don’t worry 🙂

I had an early scan at 6w1d and baby’s heartbeat was 162, which I thought was a bit high, but they said it was normal too.

@MrsR4ever:  Hiya, training midwife here, we are taught that between 110bpm and 160bpm is normal but it can go above this as baby moves around and such

I had my ultrasound done at 7w2d and it was 146bpm. However, at my first OB appointment we couldn’t hear the heartbeat. I was 9w2days. My doctor said it was normal because it was still too early to hear it but I’m still freaking out.

No, I wouldn’t be worried about 116! Ours was in the 120’s.

I was worried earlier on because mine was higher. They can range so much. As long as Dr. isn’t concerned, try not to worry.

@ 6 weeks it was 180, then dropped to 160’s for a while, then 15o’s, now in my 3rd trimester and it was 140 last week. I am almost 37 weeks and all has been fine so far.
