I wanted to do “A Thousand Years” but then the previous 3 weddings I went to ALL had that song. Its still a beautiful choice but I wanted something different. I opted for “I See The Light” from Tangled instead, which I ended up loving more. My friend is walking down to the instrumental version of the Jurrasic Park theme song. She’s joked about doing that since high school and she’s my hero for actually doing it lol!

We’re most likely going to go with the Glasgow Love Theme from Love Actually, it’s such a beautiful song!

faithschad :  The instrumental of A Thousand Years was my SIL’s song, it’s beautiful smile

I went with the Brian Mcknight version of Crazy Love, which my Brother-In-Law suggested tongue-out

A string quartet will be playing “Moon River” by Henry Mancini. I love Breakfast at Tiffany’s and it’s such a pretty song, especially on strings. It’s also special to me because my grandmother loved Andy Williams, who did a version of the song.

I’m walking down the isle to At Last by Etta James. My fiancé hasn’t picked his song yet.

I was also considering A Thousand Years.  I love the song and my Fiance had it playing in the background when he proposed, but I’ve heard it at almost all of the weddings I’ve been to recently and decided to do something different.  The bridal party and I are walking into the piano version of My Heart Will Go On (the Titanic song as everyone puts it lol).  I love that song anyway, but hearing it played on piano really did it for me ๐Ÿ™‚

Right now I’m thinking Heart Beat Here by Dashboard Confessional, but we also considered Iron & Wine’s cover of Such Great Heights with the original version as the leaving song.

I did the instrumental version of So This Is Love by Cinderella. If you’re a Disney fan, look up the Disney Weddings album on YouTube – very pretty!

We had piano and a violin, and they played the theme from the 1986 Anne of Green Gables. My sister and I grew up watching it allllll the time, and Mom had this in mind for a long time. It’s gorgeous. ๐Ÿ™‚ We opened the doors at 29 seconds in, as the music grew. So dramatic. ๐Ÿ˜‰

I had the instrumental version of Coldplay’s The Scientist. Coldplay is our favorite band. I cried to that song when I heard it play in the Wicker Park movie (I rarely cry). As expected, I cried when I heard it during my walk. ๐Ÿ˜‚

I specifically avoided the song A Thousand Years for our wedding because I’ve heard it so many times in weddings before. My cousin who got married a few months after us used that as the bride’s entrance song.

A Thousand Years would be very pretty.

I am not married yet, but I had the music from Only Time by Enya in mind. However, when my fiance proposed in China, our tour guide serenaded us with a famous Chinese love song called The Moon Represents My Heart, and I honestly can’t see our wedding without it now!

I’m torn between doing A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes or doing I Won’t Give Up by Jason Mraz, both instrumental. I could probably do both, if my bridesmaids end up walking down the aisle, they could walk down to A Dream and then I could walk to I Won’t Give Up. We’re not doing a traditional wedding though, so I might not even have them walk at all. I don’t think they really want to walk down the aisle because they’re both shy.

We used “Lucky” by Jason Mraz and Colbie Caillet for everyone but me.  It switched to Kodaline’s “The One” for when I walked down the aisle.
