I’m tackling my bridal shower registry and need some ideas! What were some of the best things you received? Anything you wish you’d have registered for?

Vacuum and nice bedsheets. I’m a sucker for soft sheets! And a Keurig, I use it every day
I found this list really helpful: https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/great-wedding-registry-gift-ideas/
Favorites are my new dishes (I had gotten some from Target after college but my new set is from Crate and Barrel), instant pot, air fryer and my coffee maker.
We are just asking for a honeyfund since we don’t need a single thing at our house. But on another note.
mainebride092018 : I saw the new air fryer/pressure cooker duo from Ninja. Have you seen those? I would totally take one of those to save space. I have both air fryer and instant pot and takes up SO MUCH ROOM.
But yeah, Bee. Instant pot and air fryer or that combo would be a definite on our list if we didn’t have them already.
We registered for an incredibly plush $200 faux fur blanket from Williams Sonoma. It’s extravagant and definitely not something I’d buy for myself. My bridesmaids all chipped in and bought it. I. love. it. Soooo warm and comforting, and such a luxury I otherwise wouldn’t have.
On a more practical note, we asked for and received a SimpleHuman combined recycling/trash can. It’s really easy to maintain (the recycling part has a handle so we can easily cart it out to the curb) and it has a little compartment on the side for extra trash bags. My mom teased me for registering for a garbage can but it has been really great!
A few Christmases ago, my husband (then boyfriend) got me a CrockPot. I use it allllll the time. Technically not a registry gift but a home product that has gotten a ton of use.
We had old pots and pans that were perfectly usable, but just for fun we registered for All Clad copper core pots and pans. We received a lot of them, and I have to say they are incredible. I felt guilty about giving away perfectly usable pots and pans, but the All Clad products are really great and I definitely notice a difference when cooking.
I’m glad we kept the more decorative stuff to a minimum because I have to admit we haven’t used our beautiful vases and fancy stemware very much at all. Maybe they’ll come in useful in like 20 years, but for now every time we have friends over they bring their babies and toddlers so we’re more in the paper plate phase than the Waterford crystal phase. I would advise you to keep your lifestyle in mind and register for the more practical things- it’s so easy to go overboard though! Registering was a lot of fun for us.
DogsAndWine : just came here to say I have the same Simple Human trash can and it is excellent! Never thought I’d have a trash can preference in my life… 😂😂
konablend : I haven’t seen those but that does seem like a great way to save space! Luckily I have a pretty big kitchen with enough storage to keep all my appliances hidden aways exept the coffee pot and the toaster.
My Roomba vacuum that my siblings chipped in for. I also love my Kitchenaid mixer!
My keurig, hands down. And then my coworkers all chipped in for a ton of k-cups.
One of my friends also got me a ring dish which I loved so much I bought more.
Something I wish I knew I loved so I could register for more, great sheets. Nothing beats a set of super soft sheets.
