I think it was the fact that my Future Father-In-Law finally managed to take the day off on Christmas, for the first time in years. The whole family was together, and he finally saw our new home – he hadn’t found the time to come over until yesterday, and it’s been a year since we bought the place! It was so nice to see him RELAXED, and spending time with his son. He even hugged him and said he’s proud of him, and that made my FI’s Christmas, because he had always wanted to make his dad proud. πŸ™‚

Best Christmas Ever.

My favourite gift, hands down, is wall art that my Fiance got me as part of my gift. He has learned my style so well! He got me two other pieces, and a kick ass coffee maker. Future Brother-In-Law got me a shiny new knife set to replace my “bachelor” set.

Hmmm so many we were very spoilt this year… Thou it is our first Xmas living together. My mum got me a tough camera (I have been rough on mine in the past haha), my Future In-Laws brought us a Nespresso coffee maker (best coffee ever – pods all the way πŸ™‚ ) and my Fiance brought me some house stuff I’ve wanted for a while and a beautiful necklace for me to wear to our wedding πŸ™‚

I got a few awesome things! Got a ring (yay!!!) so that was the best, but besides that I was really impressed with my Fiance. He not only picke dout a ring on his own that I love, but TWO SWEATERS! For a man who begs me to help him dress himself, I was so impressed that he bought a sweatshirt and a dressy sweater that I would have bought for myself. My parents also got us a new printer, tons of kitchen stuff, and being that we both work at schools, more chocolate than you can imagine!

My dad got us an iPod docking speaker system which is great, and the Future In-Laws got us Trivial pursuit ‘bet on it’ which we played tonight and I won twice. πŸ™‚ My sister bought me the Taylor Swift perfume and my Future Mother-In-Law went a little overboard with gifts from ‘Santa’.

But hands down favourite: the $1 water pistols Santa got us. Mr. Roux and I had a massive water fight this afternoon in the backyard. It’s so hot here!

My parents got Fiance and I a dining room table! Which is amazing because currently we have a folding card table with a throw over it for a table cloth. lol

Also, my grandmother got us a salad shooter and I was PSYCHED. It makes cooking 7 bazillion times easier. Very excited to shred cheese with it.

I thought wow, I’m so excited over a dining table and salad shooter.. I really am starting to be a grown up. but then I opened fiance’s gift.. and remembered that I will always be a little kid.

He got me a Lots o’ Huggin’ bear from Toy Story 3!! πŸ˜€

I got a giant cupcake/cake decorating caddy, KitchenAid stand mixer from my SO, a KitchenAid 9 speed hand mixer from my grandma, and a KitchenAid immersion blender from my parents (: hahaha it’s a KitchenAid Christmas everyone πŸ˜‰ now I just need a fancy kitchen to go with it. I also got a couple of board games that I was really excited about but would never buy for myself!

I’m so glad I have you guys to tell, I was so excited and wanted to tell my best friends, but we’re all students and none of my friends understand (yet) how exciting all this stuff is to get. I thought we’d have to register for it but yesterday was my lucky day (:

I’ve been wanting a Keurig for a while.  My dad got me one, and my Fi got me one!  I go from drooling over them whenever I went to a store that sold them, to trying to figure out what to do with 2 of them!
