My first car was a 1989 Mercury Sable and she was called The Granny Mobile, I had her for about a year or so before the transmission started going out. It was my dads car and when he passed away it sat for about 4ish years before it was driven again but she started right up with no problems.

A sassy little POS Toyota Celica. A 94. My sister inherited it after me and just sold it last summer haha. It was a great car for high school.

A ’99 Nissan Maxima in old man gold- I named her Captain Pajamas on one very very long, exhausting drive for no explicable reason other than I’m (more) weird (than normal)  when I’m tired.

I had a white 1992 Volkswagen Golf named Baby. At least one door handle was broken at all times. I’m pretty sure my dad cleaned our local junkyard out of VW door handles in the years I had it. Great little car though!

Still have my 2001 Ford Focus. I named her Darla so I figured Alfalfa would be an appropriate name for DH’s car!

I learned to drive on a little blue 1988 Toyota Corolla hatchback. It was very cute! No name though.

Mine was a black Ford Ka.. It was a new one which I sadly wrote off a year in! I used to call it Mini-Beast, this was because my Mum had a big car at the time which we called The Beast so mine became Mini-Beast by default!

I had a red 1989 Nissan 240SX…I thought I was hot shit driving that car around!! I never named it, but I loved that car!  We had to sell it after I moved to go to college and kept having problems with the radiator.  At one point I pretty much drove around with gallon jugs of water just in case it started over-heating.  It just wasn’t reliable, and my mom was constantly freaking out thinking I’d be stranded on the side of the road in my college town.

I had a 10 year old Nissan Micra in Silver, which I called Jeff as I always joked that he behaved like a grumpy old man 😉

I upgraded to a newer Nissan Micra in blue, which I called Ellie as it was the Elle Magazine special.

Now, I have an Orange Mini called Ginny 🙂
