Maybe just have peonies for you bouquet (maybe a couple in your BM’s) because like others have said, peonies will eat up your budget! Cabbage roses and garden roses will work as a perfect alternative and are much more budget friendly.

Also, don’t dismiss carnations and hydrangea as well as stock. I was able to have some large lush arrangements because I used other fillers to bring down the cost of the large arrangements. And I reused my flowers from the ceremony to decorate the head table, another great way to save money and not let the flowers go to waste.

@cubaneli Hey! Are you open to doing your own flowers?? If you are there are a ton of sites that you can use to get exactly what you want (in season) for a whole lot less. This is what I am doing, but then you run into issues of refrigeration, transportation, setup and if you have people who can help you make them. But if you are going for bouquets/centerpieces that aren’t super complicated then they are easy enough! My budget is $800 and I’m getting

-Spray roses, garden spray roses, tea roses, rununculus, chysanthemums, freesia, alstromerias, crocosmias and lots of different fillers.

This type of spread and how many I am getting would cost me well over $2500 if I went to a florist 🙂 Also, my wedding is the day before yours!!! YAY for us, bout 6 months left!

Our budget is $3000…and that’s at just cost, so from what I’ve heard it would be a LOT higher if it was retail costs
