Our floral budget has grown close to 8K, but we are getting alot for it.  We’re renting our lounge furniture and lounge decor through the florist, 8 Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets, 1 bridal bouquet, 14 center pieces, 11 bouts, 1 MOB and 1 MOG bouquets, and a ton of candles.

Our flowers are hydrangea (dark blue), peonies, roses, and calla lilies.

We are figuring we are going to spend between $3000 – $4000 on the following: my boquet, 8 Bridesmaid or Best Man boquets, 11 bouts. for groom, groomsmen and our fathers, 2 wrist corsages for our mothers, flower girl petals and about 20 centerpieces (we are having 250+ guests at our wedding).  I am not really a flower person and don’t really have a preference on what the flowers we use, but I want it to look beautiful.

I planned on spending $2,000 for the entire wedding and am walking out the door with a bill around $1,200. This includes my bouquet, bridesmaids, groomsmen, parents and grandparents, flower girls, 12 centerpieces, and other random ceremony flowers. Unfortunately what I wanted the most was going to be $450 which was lining the aisles with flower petals…never realized how expensive that was! I was going to go without until the coordinator said I could use silk flowers for the aisles.

I wanted to keep floral under $300, but I couldn’t find fresh flowers that I liked for that price. I ended up spending $60 on artificial flowers (1 bridal bouquet, 5 Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets, and 1 toss bouquet). Pics HERE.

All of my flowers will be silk, I am hoping to spend less than $100 all flowers. I bags and bags of silk petals for the isle and the tables. DOLLAR TREE is an AMAZING place for a wedding 🙂

my florist estimated 3k for my wedding – however we are getting a TON for it – all the bridesmaid bouquetst, my bouquet, all bout’s, all centerpieces, rose petals for asile, simple chuppa with flowers, some random bouquets for random tables and curtains. we are only having 8 people at a table so more centerpieces were needed too.

Only spending $25.00 for my diy flowers- going the coffee filter roses route in my vintage milk glass I’ve been collecting for the last few months. We have 13 tables and 2 head tables. Still debating on the bouts and bridesmaids- but most likely something non-floral (I have already purchased parasols and made felt rose flowers for bouts).

Our floral budget started at $600, and when I started going to florists and getting quotes, it was a lot more than that. So we raised it to $1,200 and one florist did laugh in my face and said “Well you are going to get lots of small bouqets and centerpieces then.” Now the budget is $1,500 and our florals came to $1433. That includes

-bridal bouquet

-5 bridesmaid bouquets

-1 jr. bridesmaid bouquet

-14 centerpieces(this may change)

-2 small bouquets for the mom’s

-7 bouts

I’m getting fantastic flowers for such a low cost. I will say though that the original quote the florist gave me was closer to $1600 but I told them that it wasn’t possible to keep that and I’d really love to them book them since I loved their ideas, so they dropped it down 🙂
