My cravings came hard and fast, and changed rapidly.  However, I mostly wanted spicy food, and I had to have a bacon & cheese biscuit from McDonalds at least twice a week.

The biggest craving I’ve had is Chocolate Teddy Grahams. I can not get enough of them and I had never had them before getting pregnant. I also crave citrus fruit like crazy. My mouth gets really sore from all of the acid and my thumb is sore from peeling so many oranges and clementines.

The strangest thing I have eaten while pregnant is chocolate Teddy Grahams (of course) dipped in roasted garlic hummus. It was pretty good actually. Of course when I say that, my coworker always asks me “is it good-good or pregnancy-good?”. Usually my answer is pregnancy-good.

@Diamondgurl:  Oh, I am NOT a fish person, so your craving seems extra gross to me… but maybe not that bad if i actually liked fish to begin with…

For me I have craved Cheezits since about week 5…. so 14 weeks now?? Pretty much any carb; potato anything, pan cakes, mac & cheese, ramen…. carbs! I had a craving for cajun fries from 5 guys… they were one of maybe 6 times ive thrown up this pregnancy… haha.. ew..

My mom craved Mc Donalds Fish Fillets when she was pregnant with me… which totally grosses me out! to each their own i guess… gotta eat something!!

@MrsAKSkier:  OOH I was loving those things in the beginning!

I haven’t had anything weird I don’t think? I just right now cannot stop wanting gummy candy. Mostly sour patch kids. Swedish fish are a second.

My cravings aren’t really weird I dont think but I can’t get enough mac and cheese and potatoes… mashed, baked, fried, just any potato any way. My husband who doesnt really like vegetables actually requested that I make them because he thought he was getting fat from all the carb loading haha

I never had any weird cravings, just normal ones. McDonalds is one of them. SO bad for me but sometimes I can’t resist.

@hotpinkbride:  I could do that and I’m not even pregnant!

I’ve been known to mix buffalo sauce into some ranch and use it as a dip for celery. SOOO good!

…I’m a long way off from TTC but find this thread fascinating…

I just might go make some mac & cheese now.

I guess it’s not conventionally gross but I’ve been craving Bic Macs like crazy. I haven’t given in to that one yet. Also craving fish sticks, which is pretty gross, and I’ve been eating them at least twice a week.

Other cravings have been oranges, orange/sour bubble gum (which is really hard to find), and freakin potatoes. Last night I sliced two potatoes, fried them up and then inhaled them before Darling Husband even sat down to eat his dinner.

Also, italian subs. There was a week or two where it was all I wanted. Darling Husband was all over that craving, went out and bought all the stuff for it and cooked the meat for me. Best sandwich of my life.

I don’t know if this is a craving, but when I saw green olives at the salad bar at work today I went a little crazy, filled a bowl with them and then realized that’s weird.  So I put lettuce on top to hide the fact that I was eating a bowl of green olives.  Then I ate the whole thing.  It was amazing!

My biggest craving was onion rings. For awhile we had to choose restaurants based on whether or not they had onion rings!

My weirdest cravings were a bagel with cream cheese and banana peppers and then I switched to grilled cheese dipped in buffalo wing sauce lol.

Not TTC yet but ladies, these are a riot.

The 9 am bloomin’ onion and teddy grahams dipped in hummus sound fantastic.

I’m actually in the mood for grilled cheese with buffalo sauce right about now!

My mom said she would eat crates and crates of grapefruit when she was pregnant with me. She would slice them open, roll them in sugar and eat them!

I already crave Indian Food all day and I’m not even pregnant. I can’t wait to see what kind of weirdness I’ll combine with curry!

@MsJ2theZ:  I have the gummy candy too! That is the only thing I have really needed to have. Like, left the house and drove 10 minutes just for sweedish fish or sour patch kids. Fortunately that is only a once a week craving and not daily!

I also have a secret stash of marshmallows…that was just discovered by others 🙁
