kes18: Lol! I’ll probably feel the same way when I have a kid. I’l probably be looking down one day and be like, “Shit. . . I’m pregnant!”
Hyperventilate: That’ll probably happen to me too.
MrsPhishBee: Awww! I hope your daughter has a great first birthday!
Jen041815: We just got ours in the mail the other day. Seeing our names and the actual date on something tangible was surreal and awesome and scary all at once.
OMGMrsW2B: LOL! Love it!

LoggerHead91207: When the proposal happened! Like seriously couldn’t believe I was going to get married. I was freaking out, what if I’m not made for marriage, or what if I’m not a god wife, or are we going to to work a long time? That was the initial reaction, now all those quick questions dont pop up anymore. I’m so excited to marry my best friend. It’s just funny looking back on it now.

I had that moment when I was trying on wedding dresses. that feeling has faded a bit but I am sure it will hit me again at some point.

LoggerHead91207: I love this. I haven’t had the oh shit for the wedding but I totally had it before he proposed. From the beginning I told him that I didn’t want to live together unless there was a wedding date set. later when he started talking about proposing all the time and I started getting excited/crazy wondering when it would happen- the light bulb went off and was like oh shit this means I’m going to have to live with him and I can’t like un-live with him (We live together now, I freaked for nothing) it was a good thing in a way and made me realize there is good in every step of a relationship. It wouldn’t be much fun if we met, got married and got pregnant all within the first month of dating.

LoggerHead91207: Mine wasn’t until my dad and I walked out of the venue to walk over to the ceremony location. When we started walking outside and I got a visual of the ceremony space filled with people, that’s when I literally said “holy effing crap oh my god”. It was such a woah moment.

Booking our wedding was so effortless and simple since we eloped…so my oh S#!T moment was the wedding day when my planner came to my room to help me put my gown on!!!!

LoggerHead91207: For me, it was when October 1st rolled around. After being engaged for eight months already and having almost all of the major items booked for seven months, I had been so accustomed to brushing off any concerns or freakouts with, “Eh, you have eighteen months before the wedding” only to have my Maid/Matron of Honor say, “Actually, you have twelve months. You get married next October.” All of a sudden it just felt like it was so much closer than before. The first few months felt as if I was getting married a lifetime later, whereas now it’s twelve months between me and becoming a Mrs. Several people in my social circle have longer engagements and they all said the same thing: Once you hit that one year mark, it’s like the months fly by. I’m excited and terrified all at the same time.

When I wore my ring to work the day after we got engaged. I’m sure when we leave for the actual trip it’s going to hit me in a big way.

- Wedding: June 2015 - Thorpewood
I’m not getting married until next June but I’ve been working on my ceremony script lately. I wrote my vows and started to cry, which is very unlike me…and that’s when it really hit me that OH MAN I’m actually getting married!
Ever since then it’s hit me at absolutely random moments, like while watching football or sitting at my desk at work. 🙂

It didn’t hit me until I was all dressed and my mom was helping me put on my shoes. The videographer caught me saying “Oh shit! I’m really getting married.” It was surreal. I had another moment after the ceremony and our wedding planners gave us a peek at the reception room, all decorated, and I couldn’t believe that the day I’d spent a year planning for was finally here.

- Wedding: June 2015 - On the Beach in Negril, Jamaica
Last week I was signing some paperwork for my parents and for whatever reason it dawned on me that I wouldn’t be writing my name like that ever again. I even sent my Fiance a text after it happened. It hit me like a ton of bricks and I’ve already bought my dress. I was fortunate enought to be able to leave the store with my dress. After I hid it in the back of my closet I had a good week of “I can’t believe MY WEDDING dress in in my closet!” moments. I’m pretty sure there will be many more to come as we get closer to the wedding. It’s all fun though
