This is the only picture we have of the actual meal, taken by a friend. And it doesn’t have everything on it 🙁 I think everyone was too busy eating to think about taking pictures…

Definitely the place 🙂 It has such religious and personal significance to both of us.

This guy, right here (plus he’s got a pretty sweet ride):
Uh okay, so apparently I skipped the first three words in this thread. My husband is my favourite, but since he doesn’t count, we’ll say the Winnebago he’s in. That was pretty awesome 🙂

Besides my groom, and i hate to sound egotistical, but I would have to say my gown was my favorite. We had a simple wedding in our yard and there really wasn’t anything that stood out. Don’t get me wrong, everything looked beautiful, but it didn’t take place in a beautiful church and what not.

@JewishBride:I dont think picking your dress makes you egotistical! You look great

I would have to say the New York City Fire Department pipes and drum band. They surrounded us and played “when irish eyes are smiling” and then when into a jig. It was amazing.

I never thought I would say this. Aside from the moment we said our vows, my favorite part of my wedding was our priest.
When planning the wedding, I knew I was going to have a full Catholic mass since both my Darling Husband and I are Catholic, my parents mandated it (they footed the bill), and that I would get married in the church I grew up in (went to elementary school, went through all of my sacraments at, etc).
My priest was perfect. First, he is Irish. I went to the University of Notre Dame and he adores ND football. He got to know us and made the ceremony so personal. I’ll be honest, most Catholic wedding ceremonies are long and boring. Our priest had everyone laughing so many times during the ceremony. I have had so many people tell me that it was the best ceremony they have ever been to and friends who are getting married in the Catholic church trying to get him to perform their wedding. Also, he came from the parish that my parents were married in.
After all the months of planning, I was least concerned about the ceremony. All these details went into the reception and the decorations at the cermony and in the end, the ceremony and my priest were my favorite parts.
