Our lab loves the Kong Wubba! He knows it as his ‘octopus’. We probably go through one every 2 months.. but I can’t help but keep getting him a new octopus since he loves it so much!

I thought it was funny that the dog was up before the kids playing with her new toys. I bought her two new beds and she kept dragging her new toys, bones, and blankets from bed to bed. Watching her was as much fun as watching the kids open their presents.

@PrncssDva: It is basically the Kong throw toy, but it is covered in a plush material. They have different variations of the toy (ones better suited for pool use or with a canvas material). Our lab loves to grab it by one of the tenticles and carry it around our place.

You can get it at almost any PetSmart.

@PeggyAnne: Our mutt’s favorite toy is his Kong Wubba too! He’s had it since he was just a couple months old – he’s very gentle with toys, so they last forever, but it is kind of worn in a lot of places. We call it his “squid.”

For Christmas, we gave the dog a big dog biscuit from the natural pet store in our neighborhood, and one of these fox-tail-on-a-ball things:

The tail squeaks when he bites it. It was very cute how he ran off with the dog biscuit to eat it on the landing, then hid it quickly to run off to a different landing with the fox-tail ball, then ran back and forth between them for a while. He didn’t know which he loved more.

Our cat was pretty enchanted with a couple of jingle bell mice and a wind-up mouse. That is, until the dog started to steal them from him.

@PrncssDva: Dogs seriously love bully sticks. We keep them around for a big treat, like after he’s gone to the vet or had his nails trimmed. Watch out to make sure he eats the whole thing in a couple days, though; ours once forgot about a bully stick partway through, and after a while it started to stink so badly that the dog’s breath and fur even smelled bad.

@PeggyAnne: & @IvyClimb: My dog also loves her Wubba! We don’t have the soft one like that though, we have the canvas like material one that squeaks pretty loudly! She also has a fox-tail ball thing, we got her the raccoon looking one, which actually has ripped at the seam after some rough play awhile back, I still haven’t fixed it πŸ™

For Christmas/her birthday we got our pup a new dragon! We let her unwrap it on her b-day (the 23rd) and then took it to my in-laws house so she could “unwrap” it again from a bag…

she’s been carrying it around and tossing it down the stairs today. So cute πŸ™‚ It makes a different type of noise, that’s why we like it, not too annoying.

Mouse with catnip inside. She started licking the wrapped present as soon as it was under the tree!

mt cat has the cat version of the wubba already and she loves it. This christmas she got a treat ball and a kong mouse that has a bell inside it and the body is made of a tennis ball.

Unfortunately her favourite toy seems to be a cardboard box I haven’t gotten around to recycling and she has spent a lot of time sitting it it and chewing on the sides. Typical, we buy her toys and she perfers the free stuff! πŸ™‚
