Haha, I was in a very short-temper that morning and he’s come home all giddy and excited, making a big deal about my present. I was in a hurry to go to my friend’s house (her foster children were returning to a less-than-ideal parent) and all I wanted was to go say goodbye to the kids, but fiance was taking his time “Oh, I’ve got to hide the present, don’t want you to see it!” So I just snapped and said “Just give me the bloody present and we can go!” So…he did. Poor fiance – I think I kinda spoiled it for him…

You mean when I turned around and said “why are you stopping again? Hurry up!” And he was stopping again to propose. I told him to hurry up and propose. To make it worse, I am not known for my patience!

This is so funny! ๐Ÿ™‚ My proposal was hilarious. He actually took me to this place up in the mountains. He kept telling me that he wanted us to look at the sunset, he was super happy and so was I (it was our anniversary), but by the time we got there I had to pee (TMI!) badly, so I just wanted to get there, watch the sunset and leave, lol! He said he wanted to give me a book and read me a poem, when he finished the poem, he started telling me how beautiful the moment was and how much he loved me, right then I was like “…honey, I love you too but…I HAVE TO PEEEEEEEEE!” LOL!!! He asked.. “really?!, but I have something to ask you” I said “what is it?” And then he got down on one knee and proposed to me. I said yes, we kissed, gave each other a hug and needless to say, rushed to the nearest restroom (30 minutes away!). LOL!

I was TERRIBLE! I knew he was planning to propose on Valentine’s Day. I had found the ring when I was snooping (I know Bad right?). Well, after dinner, and it didn’t happen, and then drinks and it didn’t happen and we were heading into a movie and I knew it wouldn’t happen in a movie theaterI started like hinting that I was wondering why he hadn’t……He had his plan. I acted al put out. Started thinking he was waiting till the next day just to make me wait an extra day. I was soooooo bummed out. THen he begged me to take photobooth pics with him. Very odd. He insisted. I thought it was cute but definitely didn’t think the ring was coming in the booth…..well I was wrong. He waited until the LAST photo and pulled out the box…..Definitelt caught me by surprise:)

Mine wasn’t so me, but yet Fiance. He had the ring in the kitchen and told me to go in there and get something. When I saw it, I went “Oh my God!” and Fiance just stayed in the living room. Like he didn’t know when it was time to come into the kitchen. So there was this awkward time of me waiting for him to walk in and I ended up having to peek my head around the corner and be like “What am I supposed to be doing??” He jumped up like “Oh! That’s my cue!”

@mjwyatt84:  That’s adorable. And a creative way to capture the moment on film!

mine was kinda funny too. I knew he will propose in the next couple of days. We were in a LDR and have talked about it months before and were inofficially engaged but no ring since we didn’t see each other for 6months! however, next time we finally saw each other again we went to this beautiful walk up the mountain and he started with his proposal on a private spot. He made me turn around to look at something and put the ring on my finger in this unexpected moment. I turned around and stared at it. He just looked at me until I asked him if he wasn’t gonna ask me something. he was llike “oups! and popped the question”. it was so cute. he later said he was so nervous that he forgot about that part.  ๐Ÿ™‚

Well this was due to neither of us but:

He couldn’t propose at sunset like he was going to, the beach was very crowded and it was cloudy, so he proposed after dinner under the stars on the beach ๐Ÿ™‚

This was my bad:

I had picked the ring, from Tiffany’s, and I always imagined he would present me with the little blue box with the white ribbon that it came in. Well he pulled the box out of his pocket, was just the dark navy box that held the ring that came inside the little blue box. What did my big mouth say? “Where’s the Tiffany’s box?” Oopsies Embarassed

Luckily he ignored me and kept going with the proposal, and I am kinda glad he took it out of the little blue box, my hands would have been shaking like crazy undoing that ribbon!

Haha I totally wanted to leave the beach because it was cold and kinda rainy, and I had a full bladder!! So we were walking back, carrying a bunch of sandy beach stuff, under umbrellas. I told him we could come back after we ate, and I’m sure the weather wouldn’t have been worse. Which he originally was fine with! I was like *phew* because I knew he wanted to and the conditions were just not good. haha

But he stopped us before we got back anywhere close to people, had me put down the chairs and hugged me said “It’s our anniversary… I just wanted to kind of enjoy it before we leave.” And then he sorta talked about some of the cool things we’ve gotten to do together. And then he’s all “There’s one thing we haven’t done….”

I even had my stupid clunky backpack on when he did because I didn’t think we weren’t coming back… and I REALLY wanted to go to the bathroom! Stupid water. Nobody wants a full bladder when they’re proposed to. Why did I have to drink water??? lol So I blame it on stupid weather and bladders ๐Ÿ˜‰
