My runner-up was Vera Wang Harper.  I loved the architectural, art-deco detailing on the bodice and I still think about it, but it didn’t go with the wedding ‘look’ I wanted.

@Anna22:  Thank you so much! I was so incredibly happy the day I bought it but I have been dealing with a bit of dress regret for the last week or so. I have been worrying about my decision and I don’t think the photos help because I think my second choice gowns look more flattering in the pictures than my dress does.

I am considering having my wedding dress made into a sweetheart neckline – I do think that might help, and I have thought about buying a fuller crinoline to give the skirt more oomph.

@Crookshanks:  Could you please tell me the name of the dress you choose? I absolutely love the design. Is it a Enzoani?

@Meowkers:  Can I please ask you where you bought the veil, or which designer? I love your dress too. I am thinking about Enzoani Farlow myself, but are still looking. 🙂

@minipenguin:  It’s Enzoani Ghislaine. VERY beautiful dress. Loved the sparkly belt which is actually part of the dress. Priced in the mid to upper 2000’s – cant recall.

I absolutly fell in love with the adorae but too thick and heavy for a beach wedding in the sun i would have boiled. so got 1606 mori lee. fuffled organza much lighter and cooler. doesnt stop me thinking about adorae. i also tried on a princess shape in tulle and loved it but just because i wanted to try one on i new it was too much dress for destination wedding!

I had a terrible time finding a dress I LOVED. I thought this was the one:

But then I changed my wedding date and venue and it just didn’t feel right. So then I went back to try this one on again:

But I never made it to that dress because I saw this on hanging up! This is THE dress!

I go back to have it hemmed in 3 1/2 weeks. YAY!

Runner-up: Enzoani Darwin

Although, I recently made a post because I’m starting to wonder if I made the wrong choice (by not choosing this one) :
