That is so sweet! I’m borrowing a handkerchief from the mother that belonged to my (late) grandmother and before her my (late) great grandmother. I’m hoping I won’t have to use it, but I have a feeling I will

My mom let me borrow a pearl ring she had given to my great grandmother long ago, and got back when she passed away. It was perfect and beautiful.

@bohosioux:  I will be wearing my SO’s deceased grandmothers e-ring as my right hand ring the day of the wedding. Its a family herilom, and I am happy and honored to be asked to wear it on our special day.

My mother’s pearls (necklace and matching drop earrings) that she had custom made for her wedding 31 years ago. My parents are very happily married, so I feel like it’s good karma to wear them on my wedding day (plus they’re beautiful!)

My something borrowed came from my best friend. She loaned me her mother’s pearl rosary to drape or hang from my bouquet. Her mother draped it in her bouquet 40yrs ago when she married and my bestie did the same thing on her wedding day as well. I was very touched when she offered.

I borrowed an opal and sapphire ring of my late grandmother’s that my mother now has.  Growing up, I have borrowed this ring on numerous occasions.  The day of my wedding I intended on counting a charm that I pinned onto my bouquet as my something borrowed, but my mom surprised me by slipping this ring on my finger instead.  It made me tear up!

I’ll be wearing my late great grandmother’s gold wedding band. However, I’m pretty nervous I’ll loose it! My ADD and misplacing important things tend to go hand in hand haha!
