@NauticalDisaster:  lol no. I just commented so it would keep a record of it and I could click on my profile to find the board without having to search too much for it.

@Hyperventilate:  I think I remember seeing something once about a website you could sell unwanted gift cards on.

Our friends gave us a BIDET!  You know, those attachments for your toilet that spray your asshole after you take a crap.  Kind of ridiculous but also hiliariously awesome.

@lolot:  OMG!!!! Because when you’re shopping for someone’s wedding you automatically think “dirty asshole!” “you know what this person needs something to spray water up their ass”

I just laughed SO SO SO hard. So hard it made me cough like I’ve been smoking my whole life. Thank you for that.

@lolot:  I think this takes the cake for the oddest gift! I have to admit I laughed hysterically about it though, it just seems like a really odd gift to give someone, especially someone getting married!

Weirdest gift just arrived today. Two pairs of $150 candlesticks. They’re kinda pretty but we don’t even have a dining table! Who spends $300 on candlesticks?!?!? I don’t want to be ungrateful but we really could have used the cash instead…

we got a (heavy) sterling silver complete tea set from my insane grandmother.  that’s great except 1: who the hell drinks tea from a silver tea set anymore and 2: it had SOMEONE ELSE’S initials monogrammed on it (not even family initials – literally like a random persons initials are carved into it). I guarentee she picked it up from the anique store or had it laying around in her attic, but whatever, she’s given worse.

DH weighed it and it weighs like 10 pounds or something ridiculous…but of sterling silver so thats the plus side.  We’re storing it in the guest room closet for now until the one day when the price of silver becomes outrageous and we’ll sell it and go on an awesome vacation.

@lolot:  hahahahahahahahahahaha!!!!!! OMG!!!! I love it! You win for sure!

I don’t know if I would have done if I opened it but I could totally see DH hooking it up and being like ‘this is a neat water fountain babe!’

priceless.  BEST.GIFT.EVER.

I got a fertility monitor with an extra box of testing sticks as an engagement gift from my cousin (who I am not that close to). Subtle way of telling me to have kids.. and I may have trouble……?

@missstarling:  That is a whole fish and the opening is it’s mouth. I know because my daughter has one…it’s a fishbowl…which still makes it an odd wedding gift! lol
