We’re not engaged yet, so we have no pictures, but we’re shooting for 20-25k for 100-125 people. We haven’t planned a wedding before, but we’ve talked through what we want to spend the money on and how much certain things will cost, so we’re hopeful we can make this happen!

Our budget is $10,000. But we are so far under budget at $7000
I am DIYing as much of the decor as I can and if my Mum had it her way we would be catering too.
Myself and my bridesmaids are pitching in for a weekend away. Crazy nights out, Spa days… get some good rest and relaxation in.
We are also planning a small weekend away for our Honeymoon, but also another trip at Christmas 2014 with our kids.

@FutureMrsSarah: My budget for the rings I seem to like is about $4k. Although knowing my SO, he’ll go to a secondhand store or Walmart and pick up something he’ll “think” I like! lol. He doesn’t like to spend money. $10 pants are too spendy in his opinion :p

@FutureMrsSarah: It’s around $20k, but the main reason is $8K is dedicated to photography/videography, as that’s the most important thing to me.

@FutureMrsSarah: We spent about $10,000 on our wedding, not including honeymoon and rings. We went with a nontraditional venue (my high school) and that saved quite a bit of money for the rental fee and for catering. We had 85 guests and it was a saturday evening wedding.

@BrideToBeach: ~115 people, not including rings, honeymoon or rehearsal dinner.

About 5 K for the wedding, reception and day-after pig roast. FH is paying for the honeymoon, which will run around 3K. I think we are actually going to come under budget!

Original target was $10k excluding rings. We’ve agreed to a few scope and quality variations so have a revised budget of $18k including rings.
This includes the cost of our engagement party, gifts for alot of people helping us out, and some planning barbecues we’ll cater for friends and family helping us coordinate everything. The reception will be beer and wine, with heavy canapes for 5 hours.

We were just under about $14,000 for a wedding for around 225 people. This does not include rings or honeymoon.
Our parents were extrememly generous and paid for it all. If they didn’t, we would have had a very different wedding.

$3500 for 50ish people + Honeymoon to Florida for 4 days

@FutureMrsSarah: $10,000 but I’m not even close yet.

I’m gonna say it started out at $25K, but that turned out to be a little unrealistic for NY. So I’d say we ended spending over $35k in total for 100 people for everything.
forgot to add, that didn’t include rings or the honeymoon.

We were aiming for $20,000 but after researching venues and everything else, I really don’t know if that will be enough. Crazy

@FutureMrsSarah: We spent $2090, total. That included dress, suit, jewelry, accessories, invites, website, ceremony venue (pictured), reception venue, makeup, hair, nails, decorations (minimal), bachelorette/bachelor parties, pictures, cake, license, bridal party gifts, flowers, and feeding 300 people.
Amazing how even “super simple” still cost us that much 😉

10k is the base budget. I have another 3k or so as a oh shit we forgot about this fund.
