Bagels!  We are serious bagel lovers and our wedding is on NYE so we wanted to send our guests away with a snack.  As our guests leave they will find a bakery box with a clear plastic window with a bagel & cream cheese inside.  The box is tied up with purple bakery string (purple is our main wedding color) with a purple engraved wooden butter knife that says “Spread the Love”.

We are doing fairy food or honeycomb candy.  I also bought a light grey sticker that says “Thank you” our names and wedding date.  Chinese take-out boxes because my fiance is 1/2 Chinese 🙂

Inside the boxes were Rocky Road which a ‘baker’ colleague made Mmm delicious. Thankfully she made extra.

This was framed on each table and around the venue (card box table, guest book table, place card table):

Here is what I did. I made frosted sugar cookies (yellow icing) and slipped them into grey CD sleeves. I ordered personalized stickers that said “Thank you!” with our picture and the wedding date to seal the sleeves closed. A lot of people said they really loved them and the cookies were delicious! I baked/iced the cookies all in one day, let them set/dry for 24 hours and then froze them. About 2 days before the wedding, I took them out, bagged them, sealed them and boxed them. It ended up being a perfect thing to have on the table. You can see the favors in this picture of our tables (the flowers hadn’t been put on the table yet).

We are having a Christmas wedding, so we are having a Christmas candies bar with homemade treats like peanut brittle, fudge, divinity , etc. which guests can take home in boxes. Also, we are tying ornaments to each napkin. I haven’t picked those out yet.

We had pint glasses printed with ‘I survived Cassie and Patrick’s wedding’ long with our wedding date. Guests used them during the reception and took them home at night. They were such a hit! We ordered them from DiscountMugs.com and the price was super reasonable… The more you order, the lower the price 🙂
