I am just starting to think about what wedding band I want. I am madly in love with my 1.75 princess cut diamond! I want the focus to be on the diamond, so I need a band that really compliments it. I also am worried about a band not sitting flush against the e-ring because the sides stick out a little bit.
What did you choose?? Thanks for the help!

I chose a semi eternity. The stones are round but look square because of the prongs. I can’t load a pic cause my iPhone wont let me but u can check out my pics 🙂

@You_Have_Great_Purpose: I’m no help in answering your question, but your ring is gorgeous! You must get tons of compliments on it! Hats off to your FI!

I have the same exact setting as you, except mine is a round diamond. I didn’t actually end up finding a band that would sit flush, I did look though because it’s what I really wanted. The way the setting is with the sides sticking out is just impossible, unless you have one custom made? I settled with a band that has 4 larger diamonds then on the sides of those is has 3 channel set stones. I do have a small gap, nothing crazy though. I’ve learned to embrace it. I didn’t want to get a solitaire enhancer either because I like the idea of them being separate. That may be an option though!

maybe a prong set 5 stone band? with princess cut stones to match your e-ring?

I agonized over the band a lot, but I ended up going with just a plain platinum band and I love it! I have a pave band on my engagment ring though, so I wanted them to be distinguishable as two separate rings and wanted be able to wear the band by itself, so a contoured band was out. FYI I have regular-length fingers, but my nails looked bad that day so that’s why I’m making a fist 🙂
