Hi ladies! I ordered a 3 stone ring from Mossinateco, see picture below, it is a 1.5 carat center with.33 side stones in yellow gold. I also changed the prongs to claw prongs last minute haha. I have size 8 fingers, soI feel like I can handle some bling, but I’m stuck between 2 choices. A 9 stone shared prong wedding band with 3mm stones or just a plain wedding band. If you have any pictures of your sets that would be great!!

ohmygoodgollygosh: I went with a plain band because I’m a size 4 and didn’t want the wedding band to outshine my ering. Love your ring! Sorry about the poor lighting

I bought an eternity band to go with my 3 stone E-Ring, the plain ring (what I thought I wanted) just looked to plain/blah.
No pics though, sorry 🙁

Not sure how helpful this will be since we designed both the engagement ring and the band ourselves, but I chose to pair my three stone engagement ring with a 9 stone chanel-set band:

I have a very similar ring, and I’ll be going with a 5 stone shared prong ring. I love my plain shank 3 stone and I wanted the diamonds to all line up. Still blingy, but I get to keep my plain shank.
Sorry, no pics

Mine is a 3 stone trellis ring and I think I am going to go with a 1/4 tcw half eternity. It needed a bit more sparkle!

MayBride052016: I second this approach! A band with pretty engraving would look wonderful!

ohmygoodgollygosh: I have a similar ring. Not sure if this helps. It’s a 1 ct. center and .33 ct ea. side stones. My band is a half eternity band.

mccabetobee: I think that is beautiful! I think it really let’s the ring shine, I just don’t know if it’d be too plain on my big fingers:)
knickergold: hmm that’s good to know. My fear is it would be too plain with a plain band, but I also don’t want to over power the ring.
spoiledvamp27: your ring so so stunning! I love love love your set! I love channel sets in white gold but mine will be yellow gold.
emilyjoanna: aw it sounds beautiful! Let me know when you get pics!
FutureMrsW621: that seems to be the opinion, good advice!
MayBride052016: that is so pretty! I just don’t know how it would look in yellow gold!

MechEBee: THAT IS SO PRETTY! Do you mind telling me your finger size and the side of the diamonds on your band? Do you ever feel like it’s too much?

ohmygoodgollygosh: I don’t know the exact size of the diamonds in the band since it was listed as a “half eternity.” This is a blue nile ring and their sizes, in my opinion, run a little big. I’m normally a size 6 at most jewlery stores, but a 5.5 from Blue Nile.
When I first got my ring it was a little tall for me. But I don’t normally wear any rings, so it would have been an adjustment either way. Now, I don’t even notice it. Origionally I thought my Engagement Ring might be too big and I’d just wear my band, but I ended up soldering them after a few months because I always wore both. And it kept my band from spinning. I don’t personally feel like it’s too much. But I’m also not a nurse or someone who works with their hands constantly. I take it off when I’m cooking and cleaning just so I don’t gunk it up. The trellis loves to get goop in it.
Here is a link to my band (or similar, it’s been a while so I’m not sure it’s the exact one).
