missfroggy:  YES. I hate those pebble table scatter things. They look too tacky IMO. I can imagine other cheap/DIY options that would look so much better

It may not be outdated, but I REALLY dislike burlap. Since when is dirt brown a pretty color?? And I think that every wedding where they try the whole “country chic” thing when everyones in cowboy boots…..when they live nowhere near the country. Its too tired, and I feel bad for those poor bridesmaids that have to buy the ugly dresses to match those cowboy boots. I would not be caought dead in them, thank god all my girlfriends think they are ugly too

Ha! I think chair covers are the clear winner. I honestly couldn’t tell you what the chairs looked like at our wedding in a restaurant, and once everyone’s sitting down, you can’t see ’em anyway.
