Photo booth strip or succulent. I’m a sucker for succulents! Or something edible. Maybe a strip of local honey or something else regional.

Another vote for the edibles, otherwise I like photo booths and I like the idea of plants but only if all of your guests are local

I got hot chocolate mix with marshmallows in a mug once which I enjoyed – the mug was personalized but I still liked it and still have it. I’m not so against personalized favors since I like having that memory but dont think I’d go that route seeing that most people can’t stand them lol!

so yea some nice quality chocolates or sweets are great.

Ok so I would want what we gave so that’s what I’m gonna say lol. They got their photo booth strips which everyone loved and we got married on 7/11 so we decided to give everyone a dollar scratch ticket with a penny. Everyone hand fun scratching theirs waiting for dinner to come. We had a few small winners and one person won $50. It was pretty cool.

Given that most of us can’t do faors like Kanye and Kim

$500 bottles of Bollinger champagne, $200 Creme de la Mer products, handmade souvenir trinkets with Kim and Kanye’s initials etched in Swarovski crystals, bottles of scents from local perfumeries, and $250 vouchers for treatments at the hotel’s spa.

my vote is for skipping favors entirely. Seriously. My life is not going to be enhanced because you give me one cookie, a truffle, a teeny jar of jam or honey, or even a photostrip.  You have already given me appetizers and drinks, dinner and dessert, dancing and fun socializing.  Save your favor budget and have a drink on me while you are on your honeymoon.

Another vote for nothing. I would much rather the couple save their money.

But if you must then something edible which is good quality. If you are going to buy cheap candy (which usually tastes bad) just for the sake of having a favour then please just don’t.

Also going to echo everyone saying no to anything with names or dates or any knick knacks.

We were invited to a family wedding where a big fuss was made about the bride making the favors. She bought little jars, filled them with Jordan almonds, put a ribbon around it, and printed stickers with their names and date. No one in our family even likes Jordan almonds.

We politely took them, but knew we wouldn’t want to pack them in our suitcases, for the flight home. There was a park next to our hotel, so we poured the almonds out there, for the squirrels (they probably hate us), then put the jars in the recycling can, in our room.

Of course, this was a wedding where the food was not plentiful or very good, so we left a bit early to go out and get something to eat. I also vote for no favors – spend the money on hosting your guests.

Something edible. But not if it needs something else to go with it (i.e. I don’t want jams/jellys etc).

I think my favorites were: coasters and koozies.  Of course anything edible is fantastic 🙂  We gave away wine glasses and pint glasses–with a cute little quote, our names, and date.  Everyone on here says so personalization, but I have had so many people say how much they loved our favors.  They send me pics when they are using them.  I even had one ask me if we had any left overs because hers accidently broke.  We took home maybe 3 of each at the end of the night, which was ok because I really wanted some!    Personally you know your guests better then we do and know what they would enjoy!

something i can eat.  cookies, candy, chocolate, jam, honey etc.

otherwise, i don’t want a favor.  i’ll never use something with your name and date engraved on it.

We had a lot of people comment on how much they loved our koozies and they had our names on them. The reverse had a ‘hi my name is ______’ graphic for people to put their own name on the koozie.

Our venue doesn’t allow ANY outside food to be brought in (including favors), so we are doing little photo frames for our photo booth. They won’t have anything with our date on them.

Edibles all the way.  I don’t want anything I have to keep around.
