We used mywedding.com. We liked the templates much better. A lot of the templates were linked with invitations so you can coordinate it all.

It was also very easy to use and looks great!

I used google sites – which isn’t specifically a wedding website, but they have lots of templates to use.  I preferred it because it linked up automatically with other files and things I was using for wedding planning.

I used The Knot just because I knew the in my circles of friends, it was kind of the “go-to” place to look for someone’s website and/or registry. It’s not the most advanced wedding website host out there, but I was able to create an aesthetically pleasing site that got the information across to my guests. That meant a job well-done in my book. ๐Ÿ˜‰

weddingwire is really good! I prefer it over theknot because I can keep track of more (and more easily!) and it keeps my OCD happy Smile plus more pretty templates!

Weddingwire – it’s free and allows us to password-protect the website.  They had templates to choose from so I was able to complete the website in a few hours.  You can add your own pictures and music.  And you choose the suffix of the web address (ex. http://www.weddingwire.com/BayStateBride).

I am using weddingwire as well. I like that it can be password protected or made unavailable to search engines. Plus, as it was mentioned, it goes hand in hand with my OCD ๐Ÿ™‚

Another vote for weddingwire. They had a lot of templates to choose from. I haven’t done a lot with it, but no complaints so far.

We also used mywedding.com, because of the many templates and the number of pages that they provide. The only trouble that we’ve had is that for some folks, the URL hasn’t worked — but I think this is a browser issue on their end rather than a website issue. Maybe something with the backslash? I have no idea — but it’s been one of those things where they type the address in, get an error message, email us all like “OMG NOOO your website doesn’t work!!!” and then we email them a link with the exact same address, they click it and it works. Mystery all around.

another vote for mywedding.com. I found the page layouts to be the closest to what I was looking for.

I used Wedsite.com and I love our site!!! PM me and I’ll send you are link if you would like…you can also see samples on their facebook page as other users have posted them. It’s a very reasonable cost and we have received raves about it ๐Ÿ™‚ We even purchased our own domain name ๐Ÿ™‚
