I’m pregnant with my first baby and everyone I know who’s pregnant / recently given birth has delivered significantly early. Most commonly between 4-6 weeks early and the baby luckily was always healthy, just a little small around 4 lbs 6 Oz – 4 lbs 11oz +++…are doctors messing up due dates? What is going on?I’m getting nervous I will be early also and unprepared. When did you deliver your 1st? Did you have any complications pre-labor i.e. gest. diabetes, preeclampsia or none at all? How much did your baby weigh? Was he/she born healthy via natural or c-section? I’m having my baby shower 6 weeks before my due date and hoping I will be okay and deliver on time so I can have time to prepare ahead and spend time with friends/family before delivering and have a full-term baby

I delivered at 36 weeks, 3 days and she weighed 5 pounds, 14 ounces. my water actually started breaking at home and i had a vaginal delivery with epidural and only a 1st degree tear. she was as healthy as could be, no nicu stay but they did check her blood sugar before she ate which sucked and we wound up staying for 3 days instead of 2 just to make sure she was putting on weight since I breastfed. I had a fibroid that almost tripled in size (started at 3 cm and got up to 8.9 cm at my last ultrasound). my doctors think that’s what sent me into preterm labor – my body was literally running out of room.

With my first I gave birth at 40 weeks and 2 days. I had no complications prior to labour. She weighed 8lbs 7oz. I dilated naturally however she was still so high up that I was given oxytocin to help bring her down. She did eventually have to be delivered via forceps.
Currently pregnant with my second and have gestational diabetes this time around. I’m 33 weeks and 2 days.

38
weeks, water broke in bed on New Years at 1 am. I did 100 squats before bed lol. Born via c- section at 3:20… his heart rate kept dropping :/ they found I had a placental abruption. Love this boy so much! I wanted a ” natural” birth, just glad he’s here. 5 pounds, 11 ounces

Delivered at 29w4d but there’s a history of premature births in my family and I have a bicornuate uterus so that is why he came so early. Definitely not a normal situation. Luckily my little man is doing great, despite being born so early!

37w3d….I had high blood pressure after 35 weeks so I was induced. I labored for 18 hours and when they broke my water they realized he was transverse, so I had a c-section . Baby was very healthy at 6 lb 13 oz 🙂
