giaf1 :  Our DD (3months old) was born at 39+6. I went into labour naturally and was in active labour for 5 hours. My LO was 6 pound 8. I was hospitalised at 30 weeks for pre-term labour, but our little miss stayed put luckily 😊

giaf1 :  I had her at 37 weeks and 5 days, but I had to be induced because I went in for a regular checkup and my Bridal Party was through the roof. They sent me to the hospital to be monitored and it wouldn’t go down, so they decided to induce me. I had her vaginally, and she was 6lbs 13oz.

I was induced at 41+1. Delivered vaginally 8 lbs 8 oz. Very healthy!

Never in my life did I think I’d be one to go past my due date. It was awful…being so scared and so excited, thinking any day could be the day for pretty much 7 weeks. But it came and went so fast…

My water broke at home at 36w5d. I was in labor until exactly 37 weeks and my baby was 7 lbs 12 oz. I was pumped with so many bags of IV fluids though that I’m not convinced she was actually that weight, she was soooo swollen.

My whole pregnancy I said I would never make it to my due date and everyone thought I was nuts but my pregnancy was rough on my body so I knew I wouldn’t make it to the end of my timeline.

RoseandShine :  I was 9 days late and my baby was so strong she could hold her head up too straight away, plus she could breastfeed well (strong latch, didn’t fall asleep too soon). I’m glad we were overdue even though it sucked at the time lol.

My first came at 36+4. My water broke and 12 hours later she was born. 6lbs, 15oz. Vaginal delivery with an epidural. Perfectly healthy.

My second came at 38 weeks on the dot. 8lbs 3oz. Vaginal with an epidural. Also perfectly healthy and a 5 hour labor!

36w6d, i was induced due to heart decel during contactions i didn’t know i was having.

i went in for non-stress test because baby was ivf and i was close to 35.  had the appointment been another time of the day, the heart decel might not have been caught on the monitor, it happened 3 times in 12 hours, so since they saw it, they admitted me.

i didn’t have my bag packed yet.  but it wasn’t a big deal. i didn’t really need anything and my phone charger and a few other items, my husband brought when he came.

I never had any complications with either pregnancy.

1st- 41 weeks (induced) and she was 7lbs 4oz, vaginal birth

2nd- 40+5 (went into labor on my own) and he was 7lbs 9oz, vaginal birth

Vast majority of babies are born within 2 weeks of their due date, my OB said 10 days. In either direction. Out of my close friends, one gave birth to both of hers a week late and two others delivered early (but about a week early, ~39weeks)

40w6d… it was torture.. I wanted to see our baby girl so badly! I went to the hospital and found out I was 6cm..2 hours later I went to 8cm! I stayed 8cm from 10am to 11:18pm. Pushed for 7 mins and she came into the world at 11:25 pm 7 pounds 3 oz. No complications. I wish you the best!!

Mine was born at 37 weeks, almost 38 weeks. I was high risk for going early to due to medical issues so I was really happy to have made it that far. She was born via C section due to being breech, and my water breaking so we couldn’t wait. We originally had a c section scheduled for 39 weeks. She was 6lbs 6oz and healthy.

Baby #1 36 weeks

Baby #2  37 weeks

Baby #3  37 weeks

There appears to be a relationship between your usual cycle length and gestation period–if you normally have a shorter cycle, like me, you are more likely to deliver earlier whereas if you normally have a longer cycle you may go longer. Per my GYN anyway. I typically had a 26 day cycle.

39+6, although my water broke 39+5. So he was born one day before his due date.

I was in labor for 30 hours with no progress so he was born via c-section. Came out at 8 lb 7 oz (although I think he was bloated from all the fluids I was on in the hospital).
