I probably don’t count, as I was induced. 36+2, baby boy was 9 lb 4 oz. Second child induced at 37+1, 9 lb 8 oz. Last child c-section at 38 weeks even (amnio at 36 weeks determined her lungs were not yet mature, so we waited two more weeks), 11 lb 7 oz. Because I tended toward large babies (no gestational diabetes), my OB preferred them to come earlier instead of later, and I agreed. I never had even the slightest hint that I would go into labor naturally with any of them, although I am sure it would have happened at some point! Babies in my family tend to be overdue, and that could potentially be an issue with larger babies.

I went into labor naturally at 36w4d but had him at 36w5d.. I had gestational diabetes but I’m not sure if that was a factor in me delivering early. He weighed 6lbs 4oz

I was supposed to be induced at 40w3d but my water broke at home at 40w2d. I had gestational diabetes but kept it under control and had no other issues. I labored for 18 hours and ended up having my daughter on her induction day (40w3d). She was 6lbs 12oz. I too thought I was going to deliver early. What a surprise it was to me to go past my due date! I would mentally prepare to go past your due date just in case.

I was induced at 39 weeks for medical reasons, but the vast majority of first time moms deliver late, not early.

I went early with both children and had Gestational Diabetes (diet controlled) with both pregnancies. I was 36w 6days with my daughter when I went into labor and gave birth vaginally no complications and 38w and 2days with my son when I went into labor vaginal birth, no complications. They were both healthy and were within normal birth weight but I’m pretty sure GD had something to do with it.

42 weeks, vaginal delivery. No complications or health issues for either of us, outside of her being cozy and me needing to be induced. 7 pounds, 3 ounces.

38 weeks 6 days. Went into labour naturally, laboured for 7 hours then had a placenta abruption and cord prolapse resulting in emergency c section.

38 weeks 5 days

but I suspect my due date was off by a week or so and my midwife confirmed that it was likely because my placenta looked mature and LO had almost no vernix on her.

Had a vacuum assisted vaginal delivery, no meds and was only in active labour for about 1.5 hours. Our daughter weighed 7 lbs 5 oz.
