Oh I thought of another one! Wear something nice when your hair and makeup is getting done, including a bra. there will be photos. I faffed about in a braless dress for the morning & didn’t change for H&M. Should have. Also a good idea to sit up straight .
practise posing. You may feel like an idiot but you’ll be soooo thankful later. Larger girls, shoulders back and one leg in front of the other (angled) works well.

love the idea of calling my grandparents on the day, all of them are alive, none of them are going to make it.

I wish I’d given specific names/titles to the florist so that there was no question or needing to check with anyone when flowers were distributed. My brother’s ex-wife ended up with a corsage that was meant for my husband’s sister-in-law, and I felt terrible. Names would have helped!

make an incredible detailed list of photos you wanted taken for your photographer. Treat it like – if you don’t write it down they won’t take those photos. I thought I had listed everything I wanted like centerpieces, the cake etc… but don’t forget stuff like – photos pf guests at cocktail hour, photos of hte photo display of parents i set up, photos of the place settings, a whole reception room/ceremony shot…

also disignate someone to round up family members for photos.
designate someone to bring ceremony decor to reception space
designate someone to pay vendors
make sure you have someone to bring your wedding gifts back to your house
have people to pack up the reception afterwards
