@Glow girl:  Mine either, that really sucks too cuz we will be having soo much good food…..maybe you could ask a good friend to sneak some out for you, as bad as that sounds, or hit up a drive-thru on way home.

Things got really nutty right before (DOC was a friend, who had to cancel due to a family emergency), and I forgot two big things:

-my contact case/solution. I had an overnight bag, and remembered my glasses, but forgot the contact supplies. Ended up putting my lenses in glasses at the hotel, and got solution from a Maid/Matron of Honor. Went back to the house day of, packed a bag which Mom was going to bring, and she forgot, so I improvised for two nights. So make sure your “away” bag is stocked!

-Checks! I forgot both the DJ and officiant checks! Family was willing to go to an ATM if needed- luckily our DJ said not to worry, to mail the balance. The officiant was my hometown church minister, so no worries there.

I made a binder for my DOC (Mom’s friend ended stepping up to the plate)- it had the phone numbers of all the vendors, everyone in the wedding party, family members, info on closest grocery store, etc. Also had copies of the schedule for all vendors, in case they forgot theirs. So that was a big reassurance- if the cake hadn’t show up, she would have known who to call.
