I don’t have any suggestions but I just want to say I love your table mockup. I think the flowers you have there look fantastic.

I really really like the mums. I am doing large white calla lilies for my bm’s – 3 each.

@KimmySumShuga:  Mums!  Hydranges are great but can very easily wither in the heat.  Although Newport will have a wonderful breeze so it’s probably not an issue. You can also do 1 allium.  They’re adorable and their natural season is August so you should have some around still.  Also peonies are in August.  🙂

I think the mums are beautiful. That would get my vote.

Hydrangeas make great bouquets as well and since they’re so big a few go a LONG way!

Not sure of the price but:

White anemones are my favorite, the contrast is so amazing:

White Dahlias also give an interesting look, though not as clean as the mums:

Stephanitos make a gorgeous white bouquet:

We’re getting married one year apart, I’m doing white bridesmaids flowers and boutts, AND I’m doing a brooch bouquet. Weird. I’m planning on doing dahlias and ranunculus with a lot of baby’s breath. Something like that anyway. I’m going the white and cheap route with the baby’s breath. This is my inspiration photo.

I’m also considering only dahlias, since I love them.

Maybe the baby’s breath with dahlias in it. I’m still undecided, obviously. But, it would be pretty to have a dahlia with some baby’s breath for the boutts.

I went to two weddings on the yachts you’re probably describing; one in May and the other on December. I do remember the December outing was humid, so hydrangeas would keep better.

Also, some ideas if you want to DIY. Fishing nets over bottles as centerpieces.

To be honest I’m not sure if it’d go well together, but it’s an idea. I’ve seen these fishing nets with little seashell charms too.

@KimmySumShuga:  I’ve seen 4″ and 5.5″ blooms, it really just depends on which look you prefer.  They look like a flower Dr Suess would draw.  Super whimsical.  🙂

Oh and I read on here that as long as you (or the florist) dunk the hydrangeas in water overnight, they should last the next day.  They actually absorb water through the petals so you can have a water mister handy if need be.

@KimmySumShuga:  I love love love white anemones with dark centers. We’re doing silk flowers (real flowers are just too expensive for my comfort), and I’m having a hard time finding faux anemones. I want some in my bouquet and to do my Bridesmaid or Best Man bouquets all anemones.
