My husband wears a 12 1/2 and has a 8mm band anything less than a 6mm looks weird on him

When Fiance tried rings on the 6mm width was about right. He is a size T (9 3/4 US)

My dude is weird. I think he wears a 13.5, but wants a band no thicker than 5mm. He wanted thinner, but I told him no thinner than 4mm. I think it looks odd, but he likes it and feels comfortable for him.

Here’s an image though I’m not sure about his ring size or the millimetre width of his band 🙈

In my opinion too thin can look feminine but too wide and it doesn’t look classy or timeless. There’s a lot of wider styles in fashion right now. We were aiming for timeless elegance for his band, this one you can find in Harry Winston (or similar in virtually any jeweller as milgrain men’s wedding band is a classic style). Best to try on different widths as overall hand size, finger length and nail bed size will all play into what width ring will look best on the hand.

My Fiance is a 10 and I’m not sure of the width but got this on Etsy. It fits his personality.20160411_233631-1Ring

My husband has long skinny fingers, a size 8.5 and has a 4mm band.

We used this print out to help decide the width of his band. Just print it out, cut a few of the bands out and wrap them around his finger and ask which one he thinks looks the best. Also keep in mind the wider the band, the heavier the ring will be. Hope this helps!

My husband’s is either a 8mm or a 9mm, don’t remember which.

DH’s ring is an 8.5 though he should have gone for an 8.25 or even an 8. The ring we got for him usually comes as a 6mm but when he tried 6mm and 5mm they looked too wide to both of us so we ordered it custom as a 4mm. (It’s a Brent and Jess ring so my fingerprint and our last name are on it, we just flipped them to the bottom for this pic)

He’s a size 8 and he got a 5mm, any bigger would looks weird and too ‘loose’ as he has chunkier knuckles than his fingers if that makes sense.

Fiance is a 10.5 US I think (Japanese 21-22) we got a 4mm and he’s happy with it. He’s never really worn rings before and he’s like goldylocks when it comes to big purchases so we went for a “not too thin, not too wide” option with lots of good reviews.
