“Daddy” by Beyonce is not really upbeat or fast paced, but is an excellent father/daughter dance song.

“My Joy” by Chrisette Michele… I love that song and everytime I hear that song I see me and my dad dancing. And to make it better my best friend is going to sing it for us… I am tearing up thinking about it now!

We did a mix of Michael Buble’s “how sweet it is” and Louis Prima’s “sing, sing, sing” if you fast forward to 3:13 you can see a little clip of it. We had a lot of fun fun! http://vimeo.com/45679154

Not sure if he’ll be down for dancing, but if we do, I want it to be ‘Michelle’ by The Beatles. It’s my middle name and he always sang it to me when I was little.

My dad has picked a song for us to dance to at my wedding in April but he won’t tell me what it is.  His plan is to let the DJ know and I’ll have no idea what we are about to dance to until the song starts playing.

We’re using my girl sung by a live band. My dad is a goofball so we will probably do some butt shaking and funny moves instead of being super serious

Paul Simon’s Father and Daughter.

It is more upbeat which is great because its what we both wanted to dance to and it describes our relationship to a T!
