Old- my dress, it was my mom’s dress that I updated and upcycled with another old dress. I love it!
New- My shoes, champagne satin pumps.
Borrowed- Beautiful gold necklace from my aunt. I asked her the day before my wedding and received it while I was getting ready. I had NO IDEA what it looked like until I put it on, but it has so much meaning (last gift given to my aunt from my uncle before he passed) that I would have worn it no matter what it looked like.
Blue- The flowers in my bouquet. We had sola wood flowers (super cool! Added to our woodland theme and DH is into wood working so it was special for us), the person I found on etsy dyed some to match the blue in DH’s shirt and while we weren’t sure at first decided to add them in and it was beautiful!

I’m comenting all because I wanted to say the pearl necklace story is AMAZING. How unique and loving! 🙂
Still working on my somethings, as I don’t have my something new yet (waiting on FMIL). But my something old will be a very old ring my great-grandmother gave to me and possibly another ring my mother gave to me. May have two something borroweds also, one from one family friend and another from another family friend (who happens to be officiating). And my something blue is my shoelaces. I also just got a sixpense for my shoe off eBay!

These are not set as I have plenty of time to change my mind.
OLD: A pearl necklace my grandmother gave me when I was 16. Is this old enough though?
NEW: Dress and Shoes
BORROWED: A bracelet gifted to my best friend on her wedding day. She offered it.
BLUE: Technically, the whole wedding. I’m specifically wearing blue shoes. I’m also getting a blue train patch sewn into my dress to honor my brothers request that my dress have a train. It’s a great inside joke between us.
I LOVE the blue undies idea!

New: my dress and shoes
Borrowed: I’m borrowing the veil from my sister and diamond earrings from my mother
Old: Need to figure this one out still!
I’m doing something similar! My late grandmother wore a blue dress to my sister’s wedding so I’ll be attaching a piece to the inside of my dress.
