well i tried to sell it but that didn’t work too well.  so i guess I’m keeping it for now.  I thought about donating it to brides against breast cancer.   I read through breast cancer patient records all day at work and there are some tragic stories.  I wouldn’t mind donating my dress to a good cause for them.

I want to donate mine to a charity for brides who can’t afford to have a nice dress (recommend a good one if you know one!).  The way I look at it, when we have kids, they’re not going to be wearing the same style 30 years from now that my daughter would want it, and it’s not going to do me any good sitting in my closet.  I would rather have it go to a good cause.  My mom is upset though, she can’t stand to see me part with it…lol

I am saving mine.  So far.  So far, it is in my closet and I haven’t even taken it to the cleaners :/  I need to do something with it!  Maybe I will wear it again at a renewal.

You should add “Not sure” as a choice. I wouldn’t mind selling it (especially if our financial situation turns). I would save it… but I don’t want my children (if I have any) to wear it, and I’m not sure why I would save it in a box somewhere…

Well im planning on getting a 2 in one dress and taking the short version and dying it another color (already checked to make sure the fabric was dyeable) Then i can wear it on date nights or special occasions and just feel special (plus im spending enough on it anyways)

The wedding dress is in my opinion the most sought after, symbolic, and sometimes the most expensive part of the whole wedding. Something that took hours to find and shed so many tears over, there is no way I could sell it. For me, I got a really good price for it, but even if it were double or triple the price, I could never part with it. I would never expect my future daughter to wear it because im sure it will be way too out of style! If she can use part of it in her dress than that will be worth it to me. I think people who donate theirs to charity are so so generous.

I’m an other – I’m planning on wearing my dress to a party on the night that Prince William and Kate get married (we’re all wearing wedding attire) and then I might enter in the local Bride of the Year show.

I like the idea of being able to wear it again a  couple of times before I get cleaned and boxed away. Laughing
