2BMrsBoudreaux:  I got earrings for wedding day, robes to get ready in (huge sale on knot.com) and I’m covering their hair/makeup. I know the gals are spending a lot on dresses, shower, bach party.. I liked the idea of them just showing up to get pampered on wedding day ๐Ÿ™‚ For guys, they’re wearing navy suits, which were tough to find to rent, so Fiance lucked out at JosABank during a buy 1 get 3 free sale.  He and his dad were planning on buying their own suits anyway, so his gift to the guys is a brand new suit!  Normally that wouldn’t be in the budget, but this sale made it possible, and I like that this is a functional gift- we’ve accumulated a lot of flasks and mugs over the years from other weddings.  For parents, I’m not quite sure yet.  I’m thinking the moms will get some jewlelry to wear that day, but no idea about dads.

For th. Girls I did sterling silver Jewlelry, each girl got a different pendant that I thought applied to her. It’s for regular wear not the wedding.

We plan to buy the groomsman a bottle of their favorite liquor. Fiance has been in a few weddings and hates impractical gifts so he’s pushing for this one.

Both dad’s are getting watches. And both moms are getting jewlry or some sort that I haven’t picked out yet, again for regular wear not for the wedding.

Since our photographer is asking us to have a casual photoshoot with the wedding party, my FH and I want to each choose a cool photo from that and another photo from the actual wedding day with our wedding party and make this awesome frame for them with a special message at the back.

Our wedding party are very sentimental people so we thought this would be perfect for a gift for each of them! My FH is so excited because he’s having a Led Zepplin style photoshop with his GMs at his work since one of the photos involves a big plane engine.

I have NOOOOO idea what to get our parents though … I’m stressing obout it lol

2BMrsBoudreaux:  I’ve bought personal gifts for my bridesmaids: a yellow gold love knot ring and green opal and gold studs for one; a yellow gold, pearl and diamond pendant and gold and pearl studs for another; a yellow gold 2mm ring for another; Nike trainers and Lego for my MOH; and a silver, pearl and CZ pendant and white gold and CZ studs for my junior Bridesmaid or Best Man. Also paying for their dresses and having robes to get ready in as a bit of fun, plus I’ll be providing champagne and nibbles on the morning of.

For the groomsmen we’ve upgraded their rooms the night of the wedding as a treat, have given them money (about $95 each) towards their suits (that covers hire costs, but they plan on buying suits as they have a few weddings coming up), have provided their ties, and then need to get something else: we’re thinking maybe personalised glasses and their favourite drink/something similar.

Then we have a witness (OH’s brother) who isn’t in the Bridal Party who we’re getting a nice tie and cufflinks (he collects both lol), and a reader who also isn’t in the Bridal Party (getting her a nice, good quality bottle of her favourite wine and possibly 2 nice (non-personalised) wine glasses.

Then for my parents, who’ve paid for about 70% of the wedding (way more if you don’t count the rings and honeymoon), I’m thinking opera tickets for both of them (I’ll join them too lol), a new necklace for my mum to wear on the day, and then I need to get something else for my dad as it’s his birthday the day of our wedding.
