We aren’t having one, our reception goes until midnight so I don’t really see there being much of a send-off for us… But ooooh I have dreamed of the fabulous sparkler send off!

Unless people are throwing the sparklers onto you, I don’t think you should worry about catching fire!

I wanted a sparkler send off but our venue wouldn’t allow it. Our reception ended at 10pm so we thought it would be cool if we could incorporate something lit up. We got these cool blinky rings from http://www.flashingblinkylights.com that we had passed out later on in the reception…and everyone wore them right away while dancing. Guests loved them! They all lined up outside for the send off waving with their blinking rings. They were definitely fun, but they didn’t have the glowing effect for the send off that I thought they would.

I think we will be doing a sparkler send-off. Our reception ends at 11 p.m. but we’ll be having our vintage car take us from the reception to the hotel. I’ve dreamed about people lining up near the entrance (this picture is the entrance from my actual venue) and us walking through the sparkler tunnel into our vintage car!

We did sparklers at our ourdoor wedding. It was a little smokier than we anticipated…but still really magical.

I don’t think we will be having one. We will probably just jump on the bus with everyone and go back to the hotel for some after party action.

Ours goes until midnight, but I think we may leave a bit early.  I love the sparkler idea!

We’re not leaving the property, otherwise I would totally do a sparkler send off…..we’ll be venturing into the woods to a little cabin, eeek?

I think the sparklers are an awesome idea.  Unfortunately, it was cheaper to have an afternoon reception, so ours ends at 6:00pm.  So I’m split between ribbon wands and bubbles.  Anyone ever seen a pic of sparklers used in daylight?  (I guess they don’t have to be wedding-related).

We won’t have a send off because we are staying on the property that night.  I do wonder how it will end, I guess just by saying goodbye to the people who are still there and then heading to the poolhouse for the night.

I really want to do a ticker tape send off, but our venue won’t let us. It would be too hard to clean up. The only way that they would let us is if we used the type that disintegrates when wet, but all of that paper that I have found is really expensive.

Plus we are leaving at night, so we would have to set up lighting so that it would actually look good.

Now I’m not sure what we will do
