My yoga instructor gave us a little expercise last month. She told us to close our eyes, and think really hard about a word that we want to Be, or to Become in the future.
She said that by choosing a word, and constantly thinking about it, you will eventually begin to believe it, and consequently you will BECOME that word 🙂
Her word is “Elegance, or Elegant”. And indeed, she is one of the most ELEGANT and graceful people I’ve ever met!
So, what word do you think you are? Or want to be?
Mine is “Positivity” 🙂

Mine’s going to be “confident”.
Since I quit racing a few years ago, and lost my 18 year old body, I’ve been pretty hard on myself. My entire body shape has changed and I’m not THAT out of shape, but not having the extent of muscle tone that I used to kills me. I’m so hard on myself, and I can’t wait for the day that I can walk around confident and happy with how I look.

That’s all excellent words bees 🙂
Some of the words in my class were successful, excited, and healthy!
I also found this exercise to be very interesting 🙂
Hold on to your words! In good times and bad.

I would like to be more balanced in my life (husband, kids, dogs, family, friends, work, exercise, diet [noun, not a verb], hobbies, travel, finances, etc). I’ve started slowly adjusting my priorities lately and I’m working toward developing and maintaining a well-balanced lifestyle.

Serene. I really need to learn how to de-stress and be more easy going.
