I am getting married in the Sierra Mountains, and in May the weather could be anywhere from sunshine to snow. I have picked my dress and I am wondering what would be the best choice for a wrap or shawl for less than warm weather?? Here is the dress.

I love your dress! it’s so pretty! What kind of wedding are you having? Do you have theme picked?

Wow, beautiful dress. Given you are getting married in the mountains and there’s a chance of snow, what about a fur (faux or otherwise) wrap or jacket?

@SOONTOBEMRS_Z: I am doing vintage-rustic theme. All of the centerpieces will be wood and flowers, with a touch of burlap (not a lot), and lace. Here is what I am thinking so far. I cannot explain really well so I will share my inspiration pics.
The vases I am having made right now in Colorado, they will be done in pine, and I will have them sealed so I can put fresh flowers in them, They will look like this only longer (1 REALLY long table). I am doing all DIY flowers and these are the flower choices I have made.I just recieved my cake topper YAY!!! Here is the cake inspiration pic, and the topper.I am also going to DIY some small chalk boards, and I am looking at burlap and lace table runners. The ceremomy is outdoors, over looking Lake Tahoe.
And of course my wedding hair inspiration pic,
Here is the link to to venue.
And a link to the musicians.
I am still working on all the other little details, my biggest obstacle is I KEEP CHANGING MY MIND!!
Does it all make sense so far??? I am finding that planning a Destination Wedding was probably not the easiest route to take.
But I really do the the idea of a fur wrap, I just don’t know if I can make up my mind as to which one!!

Did I mention I have NOT tried one a single dress?? I looked at looked at dresses online. Somehow this one never came up in all of the searches that I have done. I kept coming back (probably 100+ times) and admiring this dress. So I ordered it. Brand new Pronovias Ubis, with tags, regular price $1700, I am paying $939. I am a little worried that I won’t like the dress when it gets here, but I don’t think that will be the case. This is exactly what I wanted. No to strapless, and yes to soft and flowy with a very classic and traditional cut.
I am looking a fur wraps and shawls as an option. But I just cannot seem to make up my mind…….

I was going to suggest a fur wrap like the previous posters or a cute plaid button up or cardi.
