I would think portrait. Bateau comes down in a scoop type fashion.

@MsMeow:  I have no idea. I do like the dress, but wth is up with that model? It looks like her head is about to disconnect from her neck! Freaky. lol.

isn’t portrait the off the shoulder with kind of a v-neck, like those black drape things you wear in senior pictures?

 @jadlnc: It’s almost like the angle of her head and the almost backwards look of the neckline make it look like she’s turning around over her shoulder looking back at you instead of facing you.

@MsMeow:  if i was going to describe it, I would say ‘like a backwards blazer’ because I picture the back to be a low V.

ETA – The creepiness factor is upped because it’s a bad photoshop job and you can easily tell that the model has been pasted into that background.
