So I was on Facebook this morning and one of my pastor friends posted a video. In this video is a couple, standing in front of their pastor, getting married. As the pastor is talking about the importance of marriage, the bride reaches into her cleavage, pulls out her cell phone, and starts texting someone!
If you were attending a wedding where this happened what would you do? I think I’d be telling the groom to run. Seriously, how serious is his bride about marriage if she can’t put her cell phone down for 30 minutes to look into her groom’s eyes and make that lifelong commitment?
Just for fun, what would you do? How would you feel? I look forward to hearing responses!

the video sounds like it is staged. did you watch the whole thing? did the pastor give a message at the end?
if this really were to happen, i would hope i was friends of the groom and not the bride. i don’t know anyone that would do that at their wedding.

ajillity81: I thought so too. It was only a 30 second video. It was obviously shot from in front of the bride and groom so I was wondering if it was staged too. But I don’t know why someone would stage something like that either. Anyway, assuming it is real, I agree with you. I think I’d rather be a friend of the groom.

ren89: I mean, I wouldn’t DO anyting, but I’d be pretty shocked! Actually, that’s a lie, what I would do is be gossiping about it with everyone at the reception trying to figure out what the heck that was all about. I’m guessing there was some good reason? Like it was a planned joke or something like that?

If they were important enough to be texted, I would imagine they would have been invited to the wedding. Bizarre.
