What is your role exactly, are you helping her plan the wedding for free?

If your priority right now is to get her to open her eyes about this particular venue, can you find reviews that match your concerns on places like http://www.yelp.com, http://www.weddingwire.com, etc.?

@Nona99:  what do you mean she’s inviting 200 but booking 125?  is she hoping 75 guests don’t come??  are you a wedding coordinator for this couple, helping them plan?  are they aware of the issues with the venue?  when were you there last?  recently?  surely there’s other venues to choose from.

I’d want to hear the truth!  You spend so much freaking money, you deserve to enjoy the day without a leaking roof and bad food.

Regarding the number of people she’s inviting vs. the capacity, maybe find a couple of boards on here on that topic and print them for her.  Lots and lots of horror stories are posted on here about this very thing – it never ends well!

She needs a reality check.  Good luck with that though.
